Field Goal is book 5 and the final book in the Vegas Aces: The Playbook series and all must be read in order. Boy oh Boy did Travis have so many fumbles reading this series! Your heart will hurt, heal and wonder how some people could be so greedy (you will see why). Travis the playboy has come so far not only in his career, but in life when it comes to his daughter, Harper, Victoria and even his parents. He sure did learn what unconditional love was! You will be cheering him on in court, with his daughter and of course Victoria. The question is will the papers be filed or not? Mm, lips are sealed. The surprise he revealed to them in the book was awesome and truly led Victoria towards her dream career whether she realized it back then or not with all the events that lead up to this. I love the ending and look forward to reading more by this author. A true touchdown if you asked me plus a Field Goal!

BLOGS REVIEW


This is book four in the San Francisco Shockwaves series. While each can be read as a standalone, I prefer to read series in order cause you get to see inside the secondary characters before they get their story and then you see the former characters continue. Damien oh Damien behind that tough exterior you portray in the hockey world, I knew there was a soft side to you! You have every right to be a broody person and in your own time you know when to move on, but keep the memory alive. Trinity did just that for him. She may be young, but they connected right away whether it be in a coffee line, at work or outside of work. For being so young though she sure brought her A game as a social media person for the team. This was a perfect sports read as we near the end of summer while we await football and hockey season to come out. I highly recommend this series (any series really by this author) if you enjoy sports reading.

Forward Progress is book four in the Vegas Aces: The Playbook series and each must be read in order as the next book picks up where the other one left off. This book was not all happy and moving forward, it was steps forward then steps backward. Travis, Harper and Victoria have so much to work with in this story that it is a wonder that in the final book we will get all the answers (we know we will though). Travis needs to Forward Progress not only in his Playbook and career, but in both his girls lives for two different reasons. Victoria does want she feels best in the relationship, but she is also taking hits from Travis's actions and hers per say. Poor Harper, could this girl catch a break at all, don't even think of it being separate (all I will say is no, no please no). Guess we will have to wait and find out if they will all score a Field Goal or if it will only be a one pointer and not three points (for each of them). I love how the WAGS band together and will say you may need to expand that manison a bit (haha).
