This book is number eight in the Indianapolis Eagles series and while each book can be read as a standalone you truly miss out on a great set of characters and how close these teammates truly are. Think that helps make them a great team! In this story, we get JC's (Jonathan Camps) and Jill's friendship (they briefly knew each other cause of their friends) and how they not only lean on each other, but they both realize that with life changes you can have both the love and help to get you to the other side when things change unexpectedly.

You fall in love with them, you will feel for JC with his sudden career change and you will see the true connection on how they helped each other in times of need. If you are a sports fan and love a quick read that keeps you reading from beginning to end this book and series is for you. There is not a series written by this author that you won't love to pieces. But...can I say I cannot wait for the next Love & Lyrics book cause I love that song and wondering how this will play out. Life gives you unexpected changes, but those changes can make you better even when you think it's the worst timing.

The Devil has struck again!! We all met the Devil in the first book and while we saw love do some nice things to Alejandro, he was the true devil. Now we get Cruz's story. He is his father, but I will say a little tamer. The devil has been resurrected, is this a good thing or bad is the question? You will be a little shocked at the turn of events, but M gives it to us the way we love and while some of the story has you on pins and needles, you will see Cruz lives up to his family name. Sienna is a firecracker and though you will feel her hurt, in a way it was the best checkmate move in my opinion.

As the story unfolds, you cannot help but want to know what will transpire with Adrianna (his sister). The devil has risen and now we need to know how both Alejandro and Cruz will react to how this may play out. There is not a book that does not hook you with M, she has delivered our penance once again HAHA. I highly recommend this book or any of her books.

“That’s good because I won’t let you leave me.” She pushed her hands to my chest and ran them up under my jacket, shoving it from my shoulders. I twis ted out of it and let it drop to the floor, my hands rushing back to grip her by the hips.

I tugged her against my throbbing cock. “Feel that? What you do to me?”

Violet whimpered, and she started jerking through the buttons on my shirt. “I want to feel it. Want to feel it all.”
