BLOGS REVIEW

The book we have been waiting for is finally here. Yes, we all know the gist of what transpires in the story and who is with whom, but we get to see snippets of the inside relationship to Brooklyn and Dixon that we didn't see in the series.
Brooklyn still cracks me up and Dixon is just as funny. Omg the references used in this book are hilarious!
Opposites attract and it couldn't be more said for these too. For those who thought it wouldn't last, think again. Oh the last few chapters and epilogue were the best part of this whole book.
Aww we even seen a snippet of Tempt my Heart (not saying how though). Love it! Can't wait for Jax and Braxton's stories.

BLOGS REVIEW:

Oh the feels while reading this story. Kat's world turns upside down one night while her and Bren are out. James has seen Kat a few times now and from the moment he seen her, she was under his skin. Love at first sight is how to best describe this from James' side.
Kat luckily has Bren by her side during all this after hiding everything from her. This is a true best friend who is like a sister to you. James is what a true man should be when it comes to someone special like Kat. He didn't care about what transpired and loved her for her from the beginning regardless of the Trent situation.
James had a life he kept away from, but it wasn't that far behind him as he thought and we find out how Kat, Trent, and Jacey (his co-worker) tie into each other. Wow the suspense that unfolded was totally not suspected when it came to Jackson, but I truly think the most jaw dropping moment was the Jacey scene. I almost dropped the kindle I was so shocked cause never did I expect that one.
James may have saved Kat that one night, but in reality they were both saving each other and his feelings were sincere and Kat couldn't have found a better man then James in the situation she was in.
I'm hoping we will get a book on Bren and Max cause as down to earth Bren is I cannot pin point why her and Max would tip around each other for so long. Inquiring minds want to know this story.
This is definitely a book that should be shown on Hallmark or Lifetime its that good and will help others as well who may have gone through a similar experience.

WHAT MAKES A MAN?
RELEASE DAY BLITZ!

SYNOPSIS:

Every action has a reaction.
First impressions don’t always tell the story in tow.
When Dom meets Nyla, it’s under dangerous, deceiving circumstances. But when the truth comes out, Nyla is certain Dom is the ‘good book’ she needs. She's convinced the pages they’ll write together will give her the happy ending she expects. They just have to make it out of the ghetto that’s been sucking the life from Dom since he can remember. He knows the man he wants to be will never develop in that city. People change everyday and Dom is determined to change for her, but there’s one thing he can’t change and it’s the one thing she can’t accept.
The world keeps turning through the choices they make and they learn the hard way that every action has a reaction.
"Everyone deserves the chance to write the pages to their own book."

SNIPPET:

“I'm probably not like the typical dudes you know in Seattle, Nyla. I think I made that obvious with the way we met. You're in a bad neighborhood surrounded by worse people."
"I don't judge a book by its cover," she mumbled.
It was a strange way to make friends, but by the end of their breakfast, he wanted to see her again. Being attracted to her was alluring, but just because she was beautiful didn't mean she was worth his time. After an hour together, he wanted to feed his curiosity about the trusting girl.

Title: Ryan's Love
Series: Sawyer Brothers #1
Author: C.A. Harms
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Published: August 11, 2015 Publisher: Limitless Publishing
One of the hardest things I have ever had to do was bury my wife.
The second hardest thing would be watching my 12 year old daughter fall to her knees as they lowered her mother into the ground to rest.
A heart wrenching vision that will forever be etched in my mind.
Claire was my best friend, she had been since we were barely old enough to talk. I always knew, one day, I would marry her. I think I may have even told her that a few times while we were growing up.
Never did I think I would lose her so suddenly.
I knew at that moment…
Our life would never be the same again…
“Climb up,” I said from behind her as she stood staring up at the horse only a few feet from her with a look of panic on her face. I was more than positive this was the closest this city girl had ever been to one.
She peered back over her shoulder, and I almost laughed at how overwhelmed she looked.
“I’m from the city,” she said with wide eyes, emphasizing her loss at what to do. “Ryan, you do understand that we have subways and taxis, right? We do not have horses that are the size of SUVs. I’m going to need a little help if you expect me—” She pointed toward her chest, then spun around to point at the horse. “—to get up on that thing.”
Now I did chuckle. It was impossible not to. She was damn near panicking at the thought of how she would mount and then ride the horse.
I stepped up behind her, my chest fitting flush against her back. Gripping her hips, I leaned my head closer and grazed my lips over her ear. Her body relaxed against mine, and she tilted her head to the side, opening up her neck to me.
As I placed a kiss at the base of her neck, she shuddered in my arms. “You have to put your foot in the stirrups,” I whispered before kissing just below her ear. “I’ll lift as you pull yourself up.”
She nodded with her eyes closed as her chest moved up and down in small pants.
“Go on,” I urged.
I lifted her as she gripped the saddle, and she yelped when I firmly placed her atop Storm, my father’s Oldenburg stallion. Jackson held him steady as I pulled myself up and took my spot behind Amber. Our bodies were so close together I could feel her ragged breaths as she shifted against me with each one.
C.A. Harms is like any other addicted reader. She enjoys happy endings and HEA love stories. She hasn't always been a lover of Romance and had once been addicted to a good Mystery. Just recently she has taken on a new liking and now is a full blown Romance novel addict.
She lives in Illinois and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. You will always find her with her kindle or paperback in hand as it is her favorite pass time.

BLOGS REVIEW

Oh boy, I want a Ryan. Darn I was crying in just the prologue so I knew I was in for a good story. Ryan had to bury his wife, Claire (she was the one since they were young kids) and he was left to raise, Olivia when she was only twelve. Bravo to him and this story, it truly depicts what a man goes through when his wife passes and he is left to raise his child alone. We usually see it from woman and a man saving her. This was so much better even if I teared up throughout this book. You will laugh as well though as he has a close knit family and I don't know who made me laugh more his mama or his brothers.
Amber left Chicago to start over in this small town and to re-open the bakery that was her grandma's under a new name and newer image. What she didn't expect was to start a relationship after her ex who was a jerk anyways.
Ryan and his brother see her on the side of the road and for the first time in a few years Ryan starts to have feelings after his wives death. He struggles to understand that he can be happy and that Claire would have wanted him to be happy. We get to see scenes from a teenager as well on how a parents death affects them as well as when the remaining parent starts to date again.
Amber does the right thing I believe and in the end it helped Olivia as well. Loved that Amber never let her forget Claire. When Ryan feels he truly feels and he has a big heart for everyone not just his family.
This was the first book I have read by this author and it won't be the last that is for sure. I cannot wait until we get the stories on the brothers either cause then not only will we get to see Ryan, Amber and Olivia we will get the brothers and they are funny as heck.
