Dream Maker is book two in the Las Vegas Vipers series and while each book can be read as a standalone you do see the stories interconnect with the first set of characters. The Vipers are celebrating the Stanley cup and you see who is the family man type and the player type on the team. Joey is the family man type although he has no kids yet. HIs world is rocked when his marriage collapses without warning. Gabby is Garrett's sister (he was in book one) and they briefly meet a few times and have become friendly when Gabby feels overwhelmed. 

Vegas is full of surprises so what better than to wake up married when all you remember is celebrating the Stanley cup. HaHa. Joey and Gabby learn that there has to be a reason they said, "yes" that night. As memories come as flashbacks they see just how much they have in common. Now to convince Gabby to stay married is the challenge. Can he succeed or not? He may be successful as a hockey player, but can he win Gabby's heart for real? The other question is how will Garrett react to this. 

You will love the story line, how they interact with each other, the connection they actually have for real (not the fake portrayal they are to be doing) and a debatable opinion on something Gabby did towards the end. Some will agree others will not, I can see why it occurred though and it makes sense. These stories are easy to read and have you thinking you are in Vegas with them. I cannot wait until someone on the team with a foreign language gets his awakening in the future. haha

Scored is just that not only does Ian Score in hockey he scores with Evie. She is the BF's little sister and a virgin. What better than to suggest that you lose the v-card by him! hahha Ian did not see Evie's grown up self coming, but the interactions these two have when she is doing not only art therapy, but when he attempts to help her and her roommates is hilarious.

Ian starts seeing her in a different light and that is good news. You will enjoy the banter, the tension these two grow into and how the story plays out. This author always finds a way to hook you and keep you reading till the end. We truly Score with this read and you will be rooting for Ian and Evie against her brother's wishes. LOL

Second Chance Scandal is book three in the Second Chance series and each book can be read as standalone. While we see snippets of characters from the prior books you do not feel like you are missing anything, though I would love to go back and read the two prior books. Inquiring minds would love to know if her muse was a GOAT from real life football. 

Jax lives and dreams football, he makes headlines regarding a trade, but the best is the publisher's request cause there is always that one that got away hiding that can be your End Game. Hilarious! 

Sophie is someone who defies her mom and knows that there is something about Jax that others don't see even at a young age. While she tries to even the score in the future, it has consequences. Was she right or wrong is the question? I think each person will have a different opinion on how the outcome was handled. This is all I can say to avoid any spoilers.

Yet again Monica has struck again and hooks you from the beginning to end. I am excited to go back and read the other books in the series and look forward to the next in line. This is one author who can change genres and still hook you with no expectations.
