Shot Taker is book four in the Las Vegas Vipers series and each can be read as a standalone though we are starting to see this team's personal side and you will fall in love with them all. Max and Kim are both attending a wedding and taking a much needed break. They share an insta-connection and being on a private island for a wedding makes it that much easier for them to bond. What starts out as a friends week they are left wondering if they truly can walk away? They may be able to walk away, but with being family and friends I am sure they would see each other sometime. Max not only needs to take a shot at healing, but he needs to take a shot on if this will become more once they return to the real world. I love how supportive Kim is with his situation. Fate aligns them a few times. I will say this Shot Taker is worth a read. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas so good thing they are on a private island. Hehe

Blogs Review

No Comment is book three in the Capital Kingsmen series. Hold on tight for an emotional ride and to say "NO Comment" just as Tommy does a few times. The song, "Marry Me" by Thomas Rhett comes to mind reading this story. Tommy and Rachel were H.S. school sweethearts and she didn't want to hold him back plus something else was causing her to pause. He did try to stop her from walking down the aisle, but the time was not right as you will see. Just as girls have to spread their wings, Tommy had to spread his for a bit. While your heart will tear for these three you will see that the outcome is the best one and I'm happy that it went this way. Reading this book ironically hit some personal things going on and you realize that settling is not always the best way to go and I am learning that slowly. There is not a book by this author that I would not recommend. You will love all of them.

Ever Mine is book two in the Honey Mountain series and each book can be read as a standalone. This is a small town sports romance and it makes you wonder if the author got the name from dual sports members with the name Hawk Madden (hehe). Everly and Hawk were made for each other, but wanted different futures. Ever did what she thought was best back then and we found out why. She's set to help him remain on the team, but where does that land his career and what does this mean for his Ever Mine? I love reading this small town series and love how the Golden boy doesn't let fame or money change him. I'm excited to see who is next to get a Honey Bee story.
