This is book one in the Laurel Springs Emergency Response
Team (LSERT) and what makes it even hotter is that the crew from Moonshine Task
Force (MTF) is in it. We get new faces and old faces. If you thought the team
from MTF was hot and enticing, think we can get it again in LSERT? That answer
is, “Yes!”. Passion ignites with old/new characters. The response team is
bigger as is the threats.
Ransom and Stella have known each other since babies and
things are starting to change for these two. Do they explore new feelings or remain
as is? It was great seeing the grown-ups from MTF and seeing the kids grown as well
as what this new LSERT team means for the town of Laurel Springs, AL. This book
can be read as a standalone, but if you had read MTF it was nice jogging your
memory on who was who and how they connected. The author does a great job
though of putting all characters together for those who have no background on
this little team that got so much bigger. I’m excited to see where LSERT is
going to take Laurel Springs and who gets to find love.
