Blogs Review

This is book one in the Laurel Springs Emergency Response Team (LSERT) and what makes it even hotter is that the crew from Moonshine Task Force (MTF) is in it. We get new faces and old faces. If you thought the team from MTF was hot and enticing, think we can get it again in LSERT? That answer is, “Yes!”. Passion ignites with old/new characters. The response team is bigger as is the threats.
Ransom and Stella have known each other since babies and things are starting to change for these two. Do they explore new feelings or remain as is? It was great seeing the grown-ups from MTF and seeing the kids grown as well as what this new LSERT team means for the town of Laurel Springs, AL. This book can be read as a standalone, but if you had read MTF it was nice jogging your memory on who was who and how they connected. The author does a great job though of putting all characters together for those who have no background on this little team that got so much bigger. I’m excited to see where LSERT is going to take Laurel Springs and who gets to find love.

Title: Deal Makers
Series: Dealing With Love #3
Author: Laura Lee
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Release Date: January 4, 2019

Blurb

I’VE OFFICIALLY SCREWED THE POOCH.

I mean, not literally, because that would be disgusting. But I did break one of the cardinal rules of Bro Code, which is equally appalling. You see, I fell in love with my best friend’s sister after he explicitly forbid me to go near her. As if that weren’t bad enough, I went ahead and married her while sh*tfaced in Vegas.

I know that I should get an annulment and forget the whole thing ever happened, despite the fact that our wedding night was the hottest thing I’ve ever experienced.

The last thing I should do is go back for seconds.

Or thirds.

Or...you get the point.

And what I definitely shouldn’t do, is say f*ck the consequences and give this marriage a real shot.

But here’s the problem with that: I’m pretty sure that Charlotte Harris is the one. And if that’s the case, nothing is going to keep me away from her. Not even her brother.

*Deal Makers is filled with lots of laughs, drunken shenanigans, and a sexy romance. It is the third installment in the Dealing With Love series but each one can be read as a standalone.

Author Bio

Laura's passion has always been storytelling. She spent most of her life with her nose in a book thinking of alternate endings or continuations to the story. She won her first writing contest at the ripe old age of nine, earning a trip to the state capital to showcase her manuscript. Thankfully for her, those early works will never see the light of day again!

Laura lives in the Pacific Northwest with her wonderful husband, two beautiful children, and three of the most poorly behaved cats in existence. She likes her fruit smoothies filled with rum, her cupboards stocked with Cadbury's chocolate, and her music turned up loud. When she's not writing or watching HGTV, she's reading anything she can get her hands on. She's a sucker for spicy romances, especially those involving vampires, bad boys, or cowboys!

Title: Don't Let Go
The Collection
Author: Willow Winters
Genre: Contemporary Romance/Romantic Suspense
Release Date: January 2, 2019

Blurb

Seductive. Addictive. Captivating.
The irresistible heroes in these stories have those three features in common.
Some stories are second chance; others are fated love. But every single one of them, you’ll crave to the last page.

This is a collection of tales published by Willow Winters but no longer available. These stories touched my heart, but were exclusive at the time so if you didn’t snag them then, they were lost to you forever.

I wanted to make sure you could read all of my work and now you can. Happy reading, xx

The stories available in this collection are:
Infatuation, the first novella in the USA Today best-selling bundle, Drawn to Him.
Desires in the Night and Keeping Secrets, both shorts published in exclusive bundles with best-selling author Adriana Locke.
Bad Boy Next Door, a novella I wrote years ago that I still often think about. The damaged hero and second chance love in this romance is one I wish I could go back to often. It’s the final tale included in this collection for a total of 4 stories not available anywhere else!

Willow Winters is so happy to be a USA Today, Wall Street Journal and #1 Contemporary Bestselling Romance Author. She likes her action hot and her bad boys hotter. She certainly doesn’t hold back on either one in her writing!

Willow started writing after having her little girl, Evie, December 2015. All during her pregnancy with Evie she continued to read and she only wanted to read romance. She was reading a book a day — sometimes two.

In January 2016 Willow was staying up late with Evie and just thinking of all these stories. They came to her constantly so she finally sat down and just started writing. She always wanted to do it so she figured, why not? Today Willow cannot be happier for making that decision!

Excerpt

By the time the wine bottle is empty, my fingers are like prunes. Lifting my drunk self out of the tub is a precarious exercise, but one I've perfected quite well. Turning the radio off, I move to the linen cupboard. Sober me forgot to leave a towel out. Drunk me is amused to find that sober me also forgot to bring the clean towels up from the laundry room downstairs.
Oh man, I really am drunk.
“fuck it” I think out loud before I make my way to my room. This is the only perk of being alone here for a few days. There's no one to judge me if I decide to stay in pyjamas eating takeaway and drinking wine all weekend. There’s also no one to judge me or my not so youthful anymore body if I decide to stroll down stairs butt naked at three pm. It’s actually quite freeing. Since the girls, I’ve struggled with how I see myself, my body. Carrying two good sized babies to almost full term does terrible things to a women's body. No amount of gym and Pilates is ever going to fix the mess that is my stomach and thighs, much to my chagrin. And even more to Petes, obviously.
“I bet Amber’s thighs don’t jiggle” I mutter to myself as I pad down the stairs. In fact, I know they don’t. I saw enough of them in Pete’s office to know that she’s toned in the places that mattered to my husband. Ex-husband?
What the fuck ever.
Deciding that my wayward thoughts need to shut the fuck up, I detour to the fridge for more wine, completely forgetting that I still haven’t grabbed a robe or a towel to cover my ass up. Yanking the door open, the frigid air biting at my skin causes me to let out a startled yelp.
“holy shit, that’s cold” I mutter as I leaned in to get the wine that I'd stored right at the back away from the girls.
“I think that’s the point of a refrigerator, Sweetheart”
The deep gravelly voice sounding from the direction of the front door makes me jump out of my own skin, causing me to whack my head on the internal shelf. The clang of my teeth crashing together causing me to drop the wine from my hand and let go of the door that had until that moment, been hiding my naked body.
Not even the shatter of glass on the floor is loud enough to distract me from the complete and utter mortification I feel at being caught in all my drunk, naked glory by the most beautiful man I’ve ever seen.
Duke Nash.

Title: Last Call
Author: Kim Deister
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Release Date: January 17, 2019
When Sparrow Greenlee meets Nix Burkholder, it is definitely not love at first sight. It doesn't matter how chiseled his jaw is, how his shirt stretches over his pecs, how great he looks in a hockey uniform. The man has an attitude that makes her want to scream and send a slapshot into his pads. The only redeeming thing about him is his daughter, Harley, a spunky six-year-old with only one thing on her mind... to find her daddy a girlfriend. And she has set her eyes on Sparrow.

I was born and raised in a tiny town in the wilds of northern New York, a pretty, little college town called Potsdam. I grew up in a family of lawyers and teachers and bucked all the traditions. Before becoming a writer, I spent a lot of years wearing combat boots in the US Army. I spent most of my time in boots working as a Signals Intelligence Analyst (no jokes!) and a linguist. I also worked as a tech writer, an entirely different kind of writing, for Corning Glass Works. Now, I’m an Army wife and a mom to four sons.  Over the years, our Army life has taken us all over the place and I have been lucky enough to work and live in some pretty amazing places.  Now we live in Hawaii, just minutes from the beach!
I am a writer thoroughly in love with words. Reading them, writing them... I love that words can take you outside of your world and let the unimaginable become imaginable. When I’m not writing or lounging on the beach, I’m probably somewhere with my nose in a book.
