The Stand In is book five in the Single in Seattle series and each can be read as a standalone as this is the first book I have picked out to start reading. Drew and London have a hateness towards each that quickly turns to a blooming friendship when he tries to help her out with a former guy who is not taking no for an answer. Add in young Caleb and you will see that appearances don't always tell the true story. Once Drew learns more about them he sees she is not princessy as he thought. The connection between Drew and young Caleb is heartwarming. Add in old Caleb and the mom and you will get a chuckle out of it and love this family. He may have been a Stand In, but it was the best decision in my opinion.

Does He Know is book one in the Everlasting Ink series and I always forget how much I enjoy reading her stories. I never pick up her books in order or don't always read the full series (shame on me!), but I love her writing style. Rome and Emerson may have an age gap and be tied to not only her brother, but the rest of the Ink family. I'm still not sure who I loved more, these two or the whole set of characters. Roe you're a true friend (well they are all after reading the book really), but I cannot wait to see you in a story. Am I hoping for it to be within the Ink family, yes, but we shall see. Right or wrong, I love how her brother, Forrest handled the outcome. Your heart melts when it comes to these tattoo boys having a soft side. Love it! I cannot wait to see how the others develop and find the one to soften them up.

Rainfall is book one in the Seattle Blades series and what a great way to kick it off! Hockey style and perfect for the time of sean. In this book we of course get the hockey, second chance romance and some much anticipated suspense on how it all unravels with the surprise (leave it at that to avoid spoilers). Isla and Cillian bonded from a young age through hockey, they both had their right and wrong with the events and if you think the bonding between these two was heart melting wait to meet Sadie.  This was my first book by this author and I truly enjoyed it.

Worth the Shots is a book in the Booze and Bad Decision series and each can be read as a standalone as I have not read the others in the series. Aidan is in the band, Rhett Taylor band and Ronnie is so completely opposite of him. They have a love, hate tension going on throughout, but it is always funny seeing these bad boys with a troubled past fall to their knees. It kinda has you singing a song similar to this title, haha. Whiskey it is! One last shot to end the series.

Waiting to Win is book two in the Lake Sparks: Off Season series. If you followed the original series then you know who Connor and Hadley are; if not, have no fear you can follow along just fine as they are older now and exploring their own adulthood. He is your typical bad boy that needs to clean up his image, she is the true girl next girl (they grew up together) and share that frenemies over the years. Waking up in Vegas is a whole new puck game for them. You can feel the tension and passion that these two held off on releasing over the years. I enjoyed this much anticipated book and love how it ended! I highly recommend it and the series.
