The Stand In is book five in the Single in Seattle series and each can be read as a standalone as this is the first book I have picked out to start reading. Drew and London have a hateness towards each that quickly turns to a blooming friendship when he tries to help her out with a former guy who is not taking no for an answer. Add in young Caleb and you will see that appearances don't always tell the true story. Once Drew learns more about them he sees she is not princessy as he thought. The connection between Drew and young Caleb is heartwarming. Add in old Caleb and the mom and you will get a chuckle out of it and love this family. He may have been a Stand In, but it was the best decision in my opinion.
