Back Against the Wall is book one in the Lindell series. Chase and Madison both return to their hometown for different reasons and the title is perfect for the situations they find themselves in. Chase leaving hockey, raising his boys, dealing with a horrible soon to be ex-wife and moving back home to help dad, but also give the boys stability are his hurdles outside of the nanny situation. Madison returning home cause of her ex and debt is a whole nother story. She's always held her childhood crush against Chase, thus the hatred between the two. Well his hatred is different since he listened to the media and not what he knows about her. This is an enemies to lovers story and a ton of push/pull between the two. While you will love the bond between the twins and Madison, it was kinda brushed over but still doesn't deter you from the story and will still enjoy it. I think it was a good start to a new series and I am excited to see Adalynn and Cash's story in the future.

Sweet Southern Memories is book two in the Magnolia Grove series and each book will be by a different author so of course they do not have to be read in order. We get Jay and Zoey plus some adorable twin girls, Riley and Regan. Your heart will break for those little girls from their birth fathers actions. Zoey was put through the ringer with that relationship so we can see why she hesitates when it comes to re-exploring the feelings still there when Jay is back in town. Love the help she has with her family and friends. Jay you will love then and now, he left a small town living to be a doctor and I truly believe that not being together back then not only gave them those two precious gifts, but it made them both stronger in the now. He is picking up the pieces of Doc Lincoln (heart breaks for his pap's), but the right move. Now his parents need a good kick, but love that the grandparents were there for him and his brother. You will love this southern small town story about loving after grief, growing up and exploring where you were meant to be (with each other outside of their friends/family). Your heart will melt with the bond Jay and the girls have, though I would have loved to see a scene where the girls were destructive for Jay since he held them on a pedestal that they could do no wrong, but he is their prince. haha.

Surprised and Sacked is book two in the Knoxville Coyotes Football series and West and Nova's story. Coming off a super bowl win and meeting your past love are two surprises West never dreamed of (ok he dreamed, but didn't think they would ever happen). Nova love her, but wanna strangle her at times. Was it the right time back then for them both? Probably not, but being older and knowing that you went to the game chances are you knew you'd see him again. The tension between the two is spot on. They truly did have unfinished business. Being in two separate continents doesn't help, but West shows that splitting the time is worth it in the end. Love how he had no hesitation on claiming what is his and being there for their surprise. You get surprises and so much more in this story. I love reading her books cause you experience so many feelings and at times can relate to her story.
