Blurb:
The man they call the beast, sworn off love, meets the bookish beauty who thinks that love exists only in books.
When Bronte Beltran finds out that her next assignment is cataloging the famous Aubyn Hall library, she's ecstatic. But when she finds out they call the owner the Beast of Aubyn Hall, not so much. A week in a dusty library should be right up her alley. But a wrong word at the wrong time and she might just find out what exactly is beastly about the Beast of Aubyn Hall.
Blogs Review:
Caine “The Beast” and Bronte “The Bookworm” is what we call
the modern-day Beauty and the Beast. It was quite funny after I thought of this
duo to be resemblance of the movie and the author calls them the same thing.
Who wouldn’t want a library like Aubyn Hall? It is every booklovers dream, but
you will see that the reasoning for Bronte and her clan to set up a library isn’t
for what we think, and it shows you that even Beastly men have softer sides for
good reasons. If you read book one, you got the Island Clue with some Stone
throwing to cure your Writers Block and, in this story, we get the Beast and
the Bookworm. There is a cameo second (literally) that is awesome and if you
didn’t read book one you wouldn’t even know it, but for those of us who have
read both books it was an added touch and nice bonus for that second, we saw
them.
This story will hold your attention and not only cause of
the dreamy library, but for the suspense and reasoning as to why Caine has
hired this clan. You see the spark immediately between the Beast and the
Bookworm and no matter how many times you make a fool of yourself and try to
remain professional sometimes you need to “let it go” and be free to be
yourself. The banter between the library clan was hilarious as was the Butler.
Each book so far has been very entertaining and while we know that there is a
third book coming down the road it will be interesting to see how the author
relates this to entertainment is how I will best say this. Love how the mystery
plays into an Island and a Library!
