Blogs Review
Royal Bishop name fits him, cause he’s a Royal pain in the a$$ and a copycat when it comes to competition moves in the Bike world. He’s handed things thanks to daddy, but what we see isn’t always what is the true story. This is book 5 in the Rocking Racers series and can be read as standalones. We meet, Royal in Breaking Down and he’s arrogant and you just want him to crash land his bike to get a wakeup call. What we don’t see though is the real side to Royal until we read this story. There’s two sides to every story and Royal isn’t an a$$ really once you hear his story. It is heartfelt and heartbreaking all rolled into one.
Jake is Royal’s BF and has kept his feelings from Royal for many years. He puts that aside and is there for Royal as a faithful friend. It breaks his heart watching Royal be with all these girls, but what Jake doesn’t realize is that Royal cares for Jake though he doesn’t always show this in the best ways. Just when Royal decides to speak freely on his feelings for Jake his life is pulled out from underneath him. Does Royal continue living up to Daddy’s expectations or does he take what he should have taken a long time ago and gets what he wants for once? The pressure is on and at times you must hit rock bottom to become who you need to be. You will see some friends that are made that weren’t enemies, but you weren’t friends either in the competition world. Never did I ever imagine two characters to bond the way they did, but that was one rocking win all around.
All I want, is about taking a step back and looking around to see what you want and what you can have after you speak your mind and release the true you that was hidden for so many years. You probably didn’t like Royal in the other story when you met him, just like I didn’t, but I have to say after reading his story, I love him, and his name is now fitting for him as you watch him grow and fight for his HEA. The sacrifices made by both Royal and Jake make you want to hug both of them. There isn’t a character in this series that doesn’t grab you and make you fall in love with them. I love being able to see snippets of some other characters and I’m excited to see that we will get a Liam sandwich down the road. Wondering if Kyle who we meet in this book will a story in the Rocking Racers, hopefully so. That ending though makes All I want and is an epic win in my book.
