Title: No Tomorrow
Author: Carian Cole
Genre: Contemporary Romance Standalone
 Release Date: September 13, 2018

Blurb

The people we love are thieves.
They steal our hearts. They steal our breath.
They steal our sanity.
And we let them.
Over and over and over again.

They say you never forget your first time.
Mine was with a homeless musician who effed my brains out under a bridge.

He was my first love. And fourteen years later, I still can’t get him out of my head.

He broke all my rules.
He also broke my heart.

I watched him climb to stardom, cheering him on from afar.
But I was never a fan; just a girl in love.

Like a tornado, he spiraled, leaving a path of destruction in his wake.

But love conquers all, right? It has to. Because here I stand, ravaged and ruined, needing it to be true.

You can’t go back, but I want to. Back to the bridge. Back to when he sang only for me. Before he was famous. Before he shattered my heart.

I thought I knew everything about him.
But I could not have been more wrong.

He promised me every tomorrow. And here I am, waiting.
And hoping.
Again.

Author Bio

I have a passion for the bad boys, those covered in tattoos, sexy smirks, ripped jeans, fast cars, motorcycles and of course, the sweet girls that try to tame them and win their hearts. My debut series, Ashes & Embers, follows the lives of rock band members as they find, and sometimes lose, the loves of their lives.

Born and raised a Jersey girl, I now reside in beautiful New Hampshire with my husband and our multitude of furry pets and spend most of my time writing, reading, and vacuuming.

Blogs Review

This story took my heart and ripped it to shreds. I’ve always heard about this author and wanted to read her books and boy am I glad I started with this book. This book is a standalone from her other books. You never forget your first love they say, and boy does this hold true for Piper and Evan. This story will span over a little more than a decade and your heart hurts, smiles and heals over this duration. You will see some sensitive topics discussed in this story and while we may know a tidbit of information on these topics, boy is it an eye opener for us who have not experienced this or know someone who dealt with this. It truly tugs at your emotions and leaves you feeling Blue!
Piper gets lost in her books (just like we do) and lives for lunch breaks in the park. Who knew meeting Blue and Acorn in the park would change their lives. The pull between these two steal your breath and heart. You endure the same emotions Piper goes through on her rollercoaster of a ride. Then there is Blue who steals your heart in one way and then daggers it the other way. His story is heartbreaking, and you want to shake him at times or lock him in a shed. As you learn more about him hold onto that device cause what you find out has you trying to mask many emotions and this including the how, what and why questions. I like to call him Evan (not Blue) as you get to know the real him. He goes from being homeless to stardom and still battles those Blues. Both characters struggle during this time and I love Evan’s friend who guides these two you can say throughout the story.
This story is eye opening in many ways. It is an ugly painful story yet full of hope! There a few secondary characters that you fall in love with as well that we meet (and that includes pets). Evan loved his Ladybug like there was tomorrow, but sometimes that isn’t enough. One thing you will take away from this story is that you need to live life to the fullest-like there is No Tomorrow!
