Blogs Review

Pieces of Me is about two fractured heart coming together as one whole heart. Sometimes we cannot understand why the bad happen to us, but then we see that without the bad it wouldn’t have led to where you are now. While its sad that our true loves must end, sometimes you get more than one great love and you get to cherish things that you should have cherished the first time around if you had gotten the chance.

Cooper was in the military fighting for our country until he gets a call that changes his life in so many ways. Being a single father wasn’t one of them. He would have given up if it wasn’t for his Bella. You can say that fate led to the meeting of Lexi and Cooper. Kind of a “Saved by the Bell” ring for Bella. Lexi is not the same girl look wise she was when she lived in town, now she’s back and her looks are better and makes her feel good about herself. Meeting Cooper is funny the second time around, the first time not so much cause that was heart beating.  The instant bond between Bella and Lexi and then Lexi and Cooper are heartwarming, but you can definitely feel the conflict of emotions Cooper feels reading this story. This is the story that breaks you into pieces, shows you that each person heals on their own time and that it’s OK to love again and still have pieces of your first love in the present.

This is a standalone, but I’m hoping that we see a story on Auntie Maddie and Uncle Alex even if a novella. I read the other series by this author and there is not I story that you don’t feel the emotions and fall in love with by this author.
