How could we be anything but forever to each other when our lives are so irresolutely melded together?

Two years ago, Avery Johannas swore she wouldn’t give her heart to another man again—and then Jesse Pearce changed her mind. Now, with wedding bells getting ready to ring, Avery’s relying on her friends to get her through all the hectic wedding planning. However, she’ll have to let go of the past in order to say “I do” one more time and take the risk again.

Avery and Jesse’s relationship isn’t the only one changing. Reed’s role as wedding planner makes Lysander realize all he is missing. With wedding fever in the ocean air, will the two be ready to take the next big step as well—or will Lysander be left craving the promise of forever?

As the couples from Midsummer Nights get ready for Avery’s big day, they’ll pull together in a memorable way—and the surprise twist up their sleeves is sure to make fans of the Lines in the Sand series swoon.
This is the final book in the Lines in the Sand series (wipes one’s eyes cause I don’t want this to end) and although the prior books can be read as a standalone, this one should not be read as a standalone. Suggest you read Inked Hearts (Avery/Jesse’s story) and Hidden Hearts (Lysander/Reed’s story) to get the full effect and emotions of this story.
Avery/Jesse’s Big Day is coming, but Avery has to ensure she keeps the past in the past and don’t let mommy dearest fill her head with nonsense. Can I just give a shout out to Phoebe (Jodi’s mom) for a scene in the book (all I can say to avoid a spoiler)? Jesse is perfect for her and her future.
Reed is the wedding planner and he’s content with his and Lysander’s relationship. Reed truly has come out of his shell! Lysander may have wedding fever or maybe it’s time for these two to go to the next promise. Be still your heart! Oh My! Will there be more than one Promised Heart happening at MidSummer Night? Well-Yeah so not telling.
Holy Wild Heart on a stick this twist or two was awesome! This clan from MidSummer Nights, Wild Hearts, Inked (J & J) and the Café are Ocean’s City’s go to places and a place I sure wish was real including the friends. I know it’s the final book (insert sad face) but I’m holding out hope that we get Levi/Jodi’s wedding down the road. Maybe Wild Hearts can host this? Wink wink

These characters still keep you laughing, crying and wanting to draw lines in the sand (lazy beach day), ride a horse, but only at Wild Hearts (Ha Ha) and share a drink or two at MidSummer Nights. Who knows maybe you will live dangerously and get a tattoo and be banded by Jesse (one can hope). I will miss this series and hope to see them down the road.

A high school English teacher, an author, and a fan of anything pink and/or glittery, Lindsay's the English teacher cliché; she love cats, reading, Shakespeare, and Poe.

She currently lives in her hometown with her husband, Chad (her junior high sweetheart); their cats, Arya, Amelia, Alice, and Bob; and their Mastiff, Henry.

Lindsay's goal with her writing is to show the power of love and the beauty of life while also instilling a true sense of realism in her work. Some reviewers have noted that her books are not the “typical romance.” With her novels coming from a place of honesty, Lindsay examines the difficult questions, looks at the tough emotions, and paints the pictures that are sometimes difficult to look at. She wants her fiction to resonate with readers as realistic, poetic, and powerful. Lindsay wants women readers to be able to say, “I see myself in that novel.” She wants to speak to the modern woman’s experience while also bringing a twist of something new and exciting. Her aim is for readers to say, “That could happen,” or “I feel like the characters are real.” That’s how she knows she's done her job.

Lindsay's hope is that by becoming a published author, she can inspire some of her students and other aspiring writers to pursue their own passions. She wants them to see that any dream can be attained and publishing a novel isn’t out of the realm of possibility.
