Genre: Contemporary Romance
Before I tell you my story, there's something you should know. My life? It wasn't supposed to turn out this way. At eighteen, I had dreams: go to college, become a nurse, create a better life for my family.
But then I was taken by the cartel.
Now, years later, I've been forced to become the one thing I swore never to be. Barely hanging on, hope is something I no longer possess.
Not until James.
The moment our bodies collide, I know I'm in trouble. Focused on escaping the Hell in which I live, love isn't on my agenda. But when our eyes lock, and my demons recognize his, my shattered heart starts to beat once more.
In him, I find strength.
In me, he finds peace.
Lost souls entwined, we become one another's salvation.
But then a cruel twist of fate changes everything.
Warning: Contains triggers.
Note: Every Sin We Erase is book 1 in James' and Carmen's two-part story. Book 2, Every Wound We Mend, is available now!
Vowed that we’d be together forever.
I lied.
Because of me, the love of my life is gone.
She’s never coming back either.
Guilt plagues me every single day.
As for the pain—it never ends.
Losing Carmen damned my soul.
But then a beautiful twist of fate changes everything.
Note: This is a continuation of Every Sin We Erase. It is NOT a standalone.
J.E. Parker is an American romance author who was born and raised in the great state of North Carolina. A southern belle at heart, she’s addicted to sweet tea and peach cobbler.
Not only is J.E. married to the man of her dreams (albeit a total pain in the rear), she’s also the mother of a herd of sweet (sometimes), and angelic (only when they’re sleeping) children. Despite their occasional demonic behavior and bottomless stomachs, J.E. loves her little tribe more than words could ever express.
When she’s not busy making sure her husband doesn’t burn the house down or acting as a referee for her fighting children, J.E. enjoys reading, writing (obviously), and listening to a wide variety of music.

Every Sin We Erase
Every Sin We Erase is book eight in the Redeeming Love series and while they for the most part can be read as a standalone, this book and the next book cannot be read as a standalone book. This book is a long awaited one and the story of Pop (James) and Carmen. As we know if you have read this series each character has a lot of Redemption to do; however, while they both do it ties it all together with all characters.
Pop you wanted to hate in prior books, but then he turned himself around. His story tells why he was the way he was and you will fall in love with how he is now. Carmen her story is a touchy subject and your heart will break for her; however, you will see she did what she did best at the time and how to help keep her alive as well as others. We all have sins, but this book teaches us that we can Erase the sins (maybe not the memory) and that there is forgiveness when the timing is right. I highly recommend this series, but it does touch on sensitive subjects and is eye opening to us.
Every Wound We Mend
Every Wound We Mend is book nine in the Redeeming Love series and the final book in the series (I know it's so sad, cause these characters will be missed). This book cannot be read as a standalone like the others in the series. This is the conclusion duet to book 8. This story continues with James (Pop) and Carmen. Wow is all I will say! This book is heartfelt, sad, happy and so many more emotions running into one.
Pop is struggling again, but stronger than ever and living the best he can. Carmen and Little One are surviving the best way they can in the situation they are in. I would have s**t a brick in the lake when it comes to the anniversary, but it becomes quite funny afterwards and you will see why.
This story pulls not only Carmen and Pop's story together, but ties in all the characters. The crazy old biddy and the girls are still a riot and I truly hope with this growing family that we get a spin off of the kids cause I can see some stories brewing with some of the kids. This is one series that I will miss and wish that I lived on the street of these characters. Haha
