Lucas

My dreams of making it to the big league had finally come true,

But one wild night in a strip club which was clearly a mistake

Landed me squarely on the team’s bad boy list.

The PR manager is supposed to smooth it all over,

Too bad all I wanted was to get in trouble with her.

I wasn’t really the playboy they thought I was,

I just needed to find the right woman to set me straight.

Now I just have to prove I’m not what she thought.

Carmen

I have the career I’ve always dreamed of,

Even if I have to deal with players who can’t seem to keep out of the news.

What’s more infuriating is the one player I want to hate the most I can’t stop thinking about.

The one whose voice makes me want to drop my panties at his feet.

I know all about his playboy ways,

But I also know the press can spin things to fit their narrative.

Is he really as innocent as he claims to be? Or will he throw a screw ball I never saw coming?

Home Game Release Date: March 18

When the guy I'm fake engaged to suggests we get married in Hawaii, I'm all in.

And then I meet his family.

His parents look upon him with disapproving eyes, and that's nice compared to the way they look at me. His pro quarterback brother thinks everything's a contest, including wooing me away from Luke. His sweet and bubbly sister is the one saving grace in this family.

None of them are playing fair, though.

It's up to us to beat them at their own game. Teaming up with Luke only pushes us closer together, but he still won't give into the heat between us. I'm his best friend's little sister. He and I are roommates. I work for him.

They're all reasons that don't really matter since I'm marrying my Prince Charming at six o'clock on the beach.

Too bad it's not real.

FAIR GAME is the third book in the VEGAS ACES series. This series must be read in order.

Fair Game is book three in the Vegas Aces series and cannot be read as a standalone as this picks up from the last book immediately in this adventure on finding out if Ellie can score a touchdown with Luke. Drama enfolds with Jack (Luke's brother), but did we expect anything else based upon his history between these two?
Luke, we really need some POV from you, would love to know what is truly in that mind of yours when it comes to your family history, Ellie and football. While I love these two and their story to be told, I feel like having this in a dual POV would have made it so much better (my opinion and does not deter from the story cause you will truly enjoy it).
Ellie, we feel your pain and torn feelings. Love that you got a surprise to help you with your trip and day. I love what occurred in secret (smart plan) cause that ending was a jaw dropper. That is NOT a Fair Game and sure is a Waiting Game! Thankfully we don't have to wait long to get the rest of the series as they are releasing pretty quickly. Hopefully by the time we can finally get our WWITC event back on we can get this series as one book to purchase (think Unbreakable Swag box cause I still have my box). Mm thought maybe, please (wink wink).

Title: Home to You
Authors: Kaylee Ryan & Lacey Black
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: March 9, 2021

BLURB

Sebastian

You always remember your first love. You also never forget the day she left.

Moving on from losing Haven was hard, but I was young, with my whole life ahead of me. A life that saw a marriage, the birth of my daughter, and then a divorce. Co-parenting isn’t easy, but not much in life is, right? I have a job I love as a high school math teacher and football coach, and raising Chloe keeps me plenty busy. Life is good. I’m content. Settled. Predictable.

Until one day, I look up and come face to face with the one that got away. Haven Decker.

Haven

You always remember the day you break your own heart. You also never forget the man you left behind.

I was young and thought I needed more than life in the small town I grew up in. I walked away from the love of my life for a chance at a career most only ever dream of. I focused on putting one foot in front of the other, creating a life I thought I wanted. It turns out the grass isn’t always greener on the other side. When an injury and a cheating boyfriend bring my world to a halt, one phone call has me packing up and heading back to the one place I never thought I would return to.

I knew I would run into him, but I don’t know if I’m ready to face him. Sebastian Hall.

Blogs Review

Home to You is a short story written by two authors who you still cannot tell which author is writing which character and I love that about these two authors. This is a read that will fill your heart and have you seeing that Home is where your heart is, not where you think your heart belongs to.
Sebastian and Haven shared a past and went separate ways for Haven to pursue her dream career. He knew she was destined for more than small-town living. Haven is back temporarily and each still holds each other close to their hearts. He may be divorced, but let me say that ALL parents who share a child need to co-parent the way his ex and him do. The chemistry  is still there between the two of them, but with her temporary stay is it worth it to resurrect old feelings? I will say that while they are meant to be, I believe their mutual split happened not for Haven's career but to get that little girl in their lives.
You will enjoy this story from beginning to end. If you enjoy dual authors and small-town reads, with light events (no drama) this one's for you. Home truly is where your heart is.

Home Game Release Date: March 4

Getting fired and dumped in the same thirty seconds makes for a pretty bad Tuesday. But by Thursday, I’ll be in Vegas celebrating my brother’s wedding. Since I could use a fresh start, he offers me a place to stay with a buddy of his.

At the bachelorette party, a raunchy game results in a quest to find me a one-night stand. When a hunk with dark blue eyes and perfect bone structure hits me with a silly line at the bar, my mission is complete.

I vow to move on from our steamy night as I head to the rehearsal dinner, certain one of my brother’s hot pro football player groomsmen will be my Prince Charming.

Then the best man turns around. Dark blue eyes. Perfect bone structure. A body I won’t soon forget.

And apparently my new roommate.

Long Game Releases March 4th

Nothing makes me work harder than when my future husband tells me, “Prove your worth.”

Luke hired me as his publicist so his pro football team owner will see that he’s indispensable to the organization. When a defamatory headline hits newsstands, it’s up to me to show the world what a Prince Charming he truly is.

My solution? A marriage of convenience.

It’ll get his boss off his back and quiet the slanderous voices.

Luke is adamant that this is nothing more than a business transaction, but I still feel the heat from the single night we spent together when we were strangers.

Now I just have to figure out how not to fall in love with my fiancé.

Home Game
Home Game is book one in the Vegas Aces series and kicks off with a punt, no music this time, but who doesn't love a man in sports right? Holy wow, I would die within the first chapter of this book (and not that type of dying pure embarrassment kind). Ellie is funny, smart and does not have the best of luck lately. While there is a moment in the book that is predictable the rest of the book was not and left you wanting to throw a ball with that ending we got. Hang tight though as you won't have to wait long for book two to find out what transpires.
Luke is hot and just happens to find himself in a predicament (ok more than just with Ellie). What is a guy to do when the girl you have chemistry with turns out to be the one you are to stay away from and your new temporary roommate? Guess this really will be a Long Game (book two) as it will be interesting to see how this game is played off the field. Great start to a new series!

Long GameThis is book two in the Vegas Aces series and you MUST read book one before reading this book. It picks up right where book one left off. Everytime these two (Ellie and Luke) think they have their stories straight another pass is sent their way to see how they are going to handle this. Ellie becomes his employer, roommate and soon to be spouse, can she handle all this without letting the lines become blurred since their chemistry is off the charts? Luke has a side that he hides well and I love how she tries to pull him out of his comfort zone. Will the Aces take him seriously? Only the love of the continuing game will allow us to find out.

I cannot wait until her brother finds out and how his brother is handled, I mean holy wow! That is all I can say at this point. Fair Game will be living up to its title based upon how these events are playing out. Come Luke step up and score this goal for the team! I know you want Ellie and you need to use this publicity to your advantage. Lisa continues to keep us entertained and sure answers the question on why these were separate stories and not one book. Keep the Game (I mean story coming)!
