They said I was a bad idea. Poor. Violent. Criminal.

They said I’d amount to nothing, and I believed them too.

Until I met her.

Layla saved me from my worst, but sacrificed her best to do it. Now the tables have turned, and it's time for me to bring her back to the land of the living.

But I might be too late.

Because sometimes our worst demons are those we never expect. And sometimes getting rid of them isn’t a choice at all.

The odds have always been against us, but this time is different. But how can I be her true north if I'm still finding my own direction? I'll never know if I don't try. And one thing's for sure: I'll try anything for her.

Author Bio

Nicole French is an East Coast/West Coast hybrid creature, Springsteen fanatic, hopeless romantic, and complete and total bookworm. When not writing or teaching about writing, she is hanging out with her family, playing soccer with the rest of the thirty-plus crowd in Seattle, or going on dates with her husband. In her spare time, she likes to go running with her dog, Greta, or practice the piano, but never seems to do either one of these things as much as she should.

Title: The Bombshell Effect
Author: Karla Sorensen
Genre: Sports Romantic Comedy
Release Date: June 14, 2018 Cover Designer: Najla Qamber

Allie Sutton just got a new job.
Not one she wants, and definitely not one she's prepared for. She hadn't seen her dad in years, so the last thing she expects upon his sudden death is to inherit the thing he loved more than anything (or anyone) ... the professional football team he owned for the last twenty years.
Luke Pierson does not want a new boss.
What he wants is to be a good father to his daughter, the best quarterback possible for his teammates. What he doesn't need is a blonde bombshell ruining the team's chances at another championship. Especially when that bombshell turns out to be his new neighbor. The neighbor he was a complete jerk to the first time they met.
For the sake of the team, they treat each other like complete professionals. In public, at least. Behind closed doors, it's a different story. And the fallout of giving in to that heat is something neither one of them can see coming.

Just before they entered the room, something snapped through my ears at the sound of her voice, but it was nothing I could place, nothing I could pin down with certainty. We all stood to greet her, and as soon as I got the first glimpse of her dress, everything around me slowed to a sluggish, weighted crawl.
It was almost as if my brain couldn’t process what I was seeing, so the vision of her was reduced to blocks of color.
Tan shoes.
Tan legs.
Red dress.
Blond hair.
Red lips.
White teeth.
Blue-green eyes.
When it all snapped together, I lost my breath in a pained whoosh. This could not be happening.
As she smiled brightly at Dayvon, giving him her full attention, I realized she hadn’t seen me yet. My next-door neighbor, the one who had called me an arrogant asshole less than twenty-four hours earlier, was the new owner of the Washington Wolves. And she hadn’t seen me yet.
Suddenly, I understood the rampant tug of nerves and the unshakable feeling that something was about to go very, very wrong. I swiped my hand over my mouth and let out a slow breath, straightening my shoulders and holding my head up high. I could do this. I’d stared down three hundred-pound linebackers who wanted to rip the helmet off my head as they tackled my ass to the ground.
I could do this.
She turned in my direction, and I saw the moment it registered. The hitch in her step, the narrowing of her eyes, the slight purse in her scarlet red lips.
You,” she whispered.
Everything stopped. All eyes turned in my direction. The temperature in the room with that one hushed word from her went from cordial to downright glacial.
“Oh, shit,” I muttered under my breath. She crossed her arms tightly over her chest. The chest I’d ogled while she shoved cupcakes at me.
There was absolutely no part of this that could end well.
Well, let’s see ... I’m a wife and a mother. If the things that I write bring a smile to someone's face, then I've done my job. I am obsessed with Outlander (both the books and the show). I’m almost exclusively a romance reader, which means some people will never consider me a literary snob. If I could meet one historical figure, it would be Jane Austen. I received my Bachelors in Public Relations and worked in health care marketing before I had my babies. I hate Twitter. I do it, but I hate it. Also, if you want to get on my good side, bring me wine and I'll love you forever.

Title: Kenzie and the Guy Next Door
Author: R. Linda
Genre: NA Romance
Release Date: May 29, 2018 Publisher: Limitless Publishing
The last thing I expected was my ex-boyfriend showing up unannounced, demanding to see our son. The son whose existence he’d previously never bothered to acknowledge, leaving me a single mother at sixteen years old.
As if I’m not freaked out enough, I also have to deal with a loud, annoying new neighbour on top of it all.
Imagine my surprise when I discover my neighbour is none other than Jeremy, my best friend’s dangerously hot brother, who was recently released from prison.
I’m sure he’s a complication I definitely don’t need. But then he inserts himself effortlessly into my life, becoming my hero, my saviour, and someone my son can look up to, and I realize how much I actually need him.
But my ex isn’t backing off, making me wonder what he’s capable of—and how far Jeremy will go to keep us safe.

R. Linda drinks wine and writes books.
A coffee addicted, tattoo enthusiastic fangirl with a slight obsession for a particular British boy band and solo artist, she is a writer of Contemporary YA/NA Romance and Suspense, sometimes dabbling in Paranormal as well.
Renee lives in Melbourne, Australia with her husband and two sons. When not writing she can often be found reading books to her children and cuddling up with them on the couch to watch their favourite movies.

While this book is part of a series and each character has their own story, there are some intertwined pieces in each book. You do not have to read each book, but you see things that are not duplicated in their story even with their own events, so it doesn’t feel like your reading double the same story or missing a piece ever. It just entices you to want to read the other characters stories. This is my second book in this series and if I thought the other men were hot you haven’t met Jeremy yet.  Jeremy is the BFs brother who happens to be Kenzie’s new next-door neighbor and how they meet officially outside of the group is hilarious. Kenzie is a single parent and dealing with the baby dad who wanted nothing to do with the baby ever until now and the question is, “why now?” Well we will see events that we didn’t expect in this story and that keep you wanting to read on to find out what is going to transpire.
Both Kenzie and Jeremy have obstacles to overcome with events from the past, but will these two get a second chance at life/love is what you will want to find out? We see Alpha men who protect with their hearts, love and a family that is a circle of friends. While there is drama it is nothing that will make you not want to read the story since it basically explains Kenzie’s baby daddy drama. Trust me, you will want to find a way to make him disappear. The anticipation of these characters and where the story is going keeps you hooked and I cannot wait to see where the next book is going to unravel. The friendships these characters have are what friends truly are for.
