Bucking Tradition is book five in the Devil's Knights second generation series and while you can easily follow along with the characters' stories, it is not recommended to read out of order as the series continues on trying to find this dang killer. Luna oh Luna! That sass continues, but now we see the true you that we did not get to see in the prior stories. Ransom knows when to push and when to pull back. He's on a mission to complete his job, but at the same time to keep them safe. I love when he brings in his BF, former partner-turned bounty hunter! The reaction to meeting the Knights, especially the girls, is hilarious. That name change was funny! Greta is still trouble especially when she and Luna get together. Speaking of trouble, Miss Winters you are not funny, I keep watching the minutes left in the story and like a nut was holding out hope that the story would come full circle knowing that my chances were slim. Then bang the end! I knew my suspicion was suspect and boy do I think I am right (I hope)! Now I have to sit and wait a really long time for the next book to be released. HAHA! Guess we should just grab a Popular Mechanics magazine and see if we can find any interesting stories while we wait for the story we are patiently waiting to get our hands on. ;)

I love that this series is full of suspense, love, chemistry and funny. This second generation keeps up with oldies quite well. Loved what the title stood for and was proud of the outcome! Lips are sealed so read this series.

Scoring Beauty is book six in the BTU Alumni. Let me start off by saying boy did I sure miss those Covenettes and this crew. They get more hilarious each time and now the next generation of kids are getting skilled in the craziness and it is hilarious to see how quick these little kids come up with comebacks and it's amazing they are only nine cause they know a lot. I love seeing the crew and really wish that coffee shop was real!

Ryan AKA Mr. Hockey is just that all about hockey and giving up dating. That is unless Maddi has her way and makes him featured in one of her books. Amara is a single mom who thinks she does not have herself together, but she truly does and does not give herself enough credit for how well she raised her son. The way these two crash into each other is embarrassing and funny at the same time. What is amazing though is how they are each connected and they did not even know it, is all I will say!

This series does not have to be read in order, but I think you will enjoy it more if you get all their stories (interconnected) as this family/friends are hilarious and you will be wishing they were real cause these are what true friends are. Sports fans, bloggers or single parent rom com loves than this story is for you.

Hold up! Wait a minute! TIMEOUT! Like NOW! Can you at least punt us the TURNOVER (outcome) like now instead of next month? Holy smokes, we all know it will end in a little cliffhanger to leave us hanging until the next book in the series comes out, but not what I expected. Michelle maybe? Decision overturned maybe? This is going to be good, I mean it is by far a five star read already, but this is either going to make or break us more than Jack and Kate. HaHa.

Let me backup a bit cause I was so excited about that ending that I forgot to mention that this is book three in the Vegas Aces: The Quarterback series and as you will see you need to read each of them in order to continue on in the series. My suggestion is to binge them all at once. They are that good. Then again this author always keeps us hooked, throws us for a loop and then has us loving and wanting more on any set of characters she writes.

JD5 and Kia make a good team in many ways, there are complications that prevent them from exploring more, but in the end we hope that Jack can succeed in the end goal. I highly recommend this read if you love sports romance.
