Kissing My Crush is a swoon worthy read that will hook you with just a kiss. While they both try to pretend that the kiss meant nothing their actions show otherwise and it is quite funny when they try to play coy at the wedding they are attending. The secondary characters are characters that will leave you wanting to know if they will end up in a story and if your suspicions are correct. Whewy I didn't know if I wanted to cheer or pummel someone (no mention of any names) at the wedding. Tyler and Amara are completely opposite so when she turns her actions to something she would not normally do it is quite funny. Some may get a chance to kiss their crush, others do not, but when you do, the question is will it develop into more or just that a KISS?! I enjoyed this story and hope that you will as well.

Worth the Wait by Evey Lyon is book three in the Lake Sparks and each can be read as a standalone, but boy did I wish I began this series from the beginning. You can follow along just fine; however, I like knowing the backstory of the secondary characters. It always helps me not only connect with them, but see things you may have not seen in their stories. In this book we get Ford, Brielle and Conner and boy are you in for a story. Young parents and meddling parents do not mix! They still don't mix when you're older. You will see that while it may not have been the one they wanted, the decision they made was not only for their future but for their child, Conner. Ford and Brielle co-parent as you would hope all do (though we know otherwise). It is funny knowing that Connor sees more than they think! Haha. While I may have missed the prior book and will one day go back and read them, I do look forward to the spin-off cause if you thought Ford was alpha here I can only imagine what happens with Violet (hahaha). You will find out who she is reading this story! I do recommend this series to those who enjoy a sports read, young parents and second chances.

Time Out is book two in the Nashville Steel series and each can be read as a standalone as I have not read book one yet. While I prefer to read series (even standalone) in order to best get the full series and secondary characters, this book was easily read without having to read the first one. Davis is a rookie, but he is also a rookie when it comes to Maggie (his one night stand). They both need a time out when it comes to the Christmas present (I'll leave it at that). She had longer to digest it than he did so while many may or may not agree with both their actions you will see it comes full circle. Living arrangements make it hard not to blur the chemistry these two share. You not only get a story on them, we get the story on the team itself. Go team! If you enjoy sports reading then you will enjoy this one.

This is book one in the Brave Enough Duet and while you knew it would one way to bring on the next book your heart will be all over the place. Bailey and Dex are meant to be even though the youth of Bailey thinks otherwise. This story is very realistic and not something you wish for, for anyone especially a young person. We learn at an early age to live life to your fullest and to live each moment like it's your last and I believe this story tries to portray just that. Was it easy to read (well yes and no). It is very heartfelt and full of heartbreak and warming moments, but realistic so I agree with the story. Bailey's decisions young and old were not easy and while some may not agree you can see why she did it; however, Dex was the one whether she wanted him to be or not. She had a very tough decision to make and your heart will hurt for both of them, but at the same time you are left wondering if Dex will agree. In the end we know we all will, including him, but we won't know for sure until the duet is complete. I look forward to reading the next book and hope that we all learn the message from this book on life. Live it to your fullest and like it is your last day cause we cannot predict the future all though we wish we could!

We meet Derek "Reign" and Allegra "Stellina" who are completely opposite of each other and yet have a connection. Not only do they not share the same lifestyles, you have Levi (band mate and her brother) in the way. Your heart will break for her though with the way her brother is and then parents. Your heart will sway though with Mav who takes her under the wings. He truly helps her find her purpose in Boston to help decide where she is going to thrive in the future. Reign truly lives the Rockstar life and we can only hope that Allegra gets her Rockstar life she deserves.
