Here with me is book one in the Archer Brothers series and your heart will fully be torn by what Ryley should do based upon the events that have unfolded. It is not only her she has to think of, she has to think of her son the most. We meet Evan who was on deployment for over six years and "dead" so would I have reacted the way Ryley did? Not sure, that is a tough one. We never truly meet Nate (Evan's brother) in this book, but we learn of him since he is now on deployment. Not only do we want to know who the "Chosen" one will be, we want to know the SEAL cover up story that went wrong (deadly wrong). This story not only tugs at your heart, but the suspense surrounding the SEAL mission is one that we want to know the deets on. I look forward to reading the next book in this series.

This is book one in the San Francisco Shockwaves series and what a great way to kick off the series with not only a new hockey team, but with Ryker finally getting to be closer to 'home' for his daughter. Hockey may be going well adjusting to a new team, but it doesn't mean the home front is as smooth as he would like it to be. I will say for being a teenage daughter (Ellie) she is a blessing and so well behaved compared to how you would think they would be. Avery is so sweet and they mesh from the moment they meet. It was nice to read a drama free book (you need those every once in a while). This was a great way to kick off this new adventure and I look forward to reading the next set of characters.

We meet Devon who already has his foot out the door before he even starts playing hockey for the team and we meet Mila who has not had the best of luck in life the past few years and is strong at the same time. Is it a mistake that the Hot Shot (Devon) is making by joining the team or was it a perfect mistake is the question? Read to find out. 

This was a great kickoff to this hockey team and you will love trying to see who will be next to land a book with these secondary characters. When I found out who is next I was excited cause I was hoping it would be them! You will learn that sometimes when you are not looking to settle down in one place it sometimes happens when you think it is temporary. Or maybe it's just Tennessee LOL. One day I will live in that state when my kids are older. HaHa.
