Gwen

Lately, life definitely isn’t how I envisioned it. I had it all. The house, the job, the husband. Until one day, I didn’t. I don’t know when exactly things started to change between us, only that it did, and in a big way. So much so, I found myself standing before a judge and signing off on the end of my marriage. To the only man, I’ve ever loved.

Now, he’s back, fighting, and ready to prove to me that we made a mistake, that our love is worth giving this another chance. I’m not sure if he’s right, but I know what my heart wants, and it wants him. My ex-husband.

Harrison

Why is it that you don’t know the depths of your mistakes until you’ve already made them? I knew signing those papers was a bad idea, but I thought that’s what she wanted. The minute we stepped foot out of that courtroom, it hit me. She’s no longer mine.

That’s when I also realized, that I would do anything to change the past. I have so many regrets. Not her. I could never regret her, but how we ended. We never should have ended. I’m in for the battle of my life to convince her to give us another shot. I have a plan, one that will prove to her that, it’s not over.

Blogs Review

It’s Not Over is what you will be saying at the end of this book, so the title is perfect! HeHe From the moment you pick up this story it has you captivated and will have you reading this in one sitting. Loved how it ended and gives us hope that there will be more of a collaboration between these two authors! Speaking of this collaboration it was spot on. Never were you able to tell which author was writing which chapter and it flowed throughout the story. This story is truly inspirational and eye opening for many of us I believe. No marriage is perfect and while we know communication is key, we all let life get in the way at times. This shows us why some separations work and while others do not. You don’t stop fighting for what is meant to be even after mistakes are made. Lessons learned and all, right!
Harrison and Winnie (Gwen) had it all and then they didn’t. D day came and reality set in. He was going to try to right his wrongs. I truly believe that had the events that occurred had not happened he still would have fought to be them again. You feel these characters emotions throughout the whole story (sad, happy, anger and so much more). To help ease our hearts we got some secondary characters (Gabby, Winnie’s sister and Chase, Harrison’s BF/Business Partner) who made us laugh and then some. Oh, the tension between these two are NOT over!
This isn’t just a second chance romance cause we got a surprise while reading this and wowzer didn’t really expect that, but it flowed so well into the storyline. Can I say that not only did I love this book, but I love the cover! I’m a total cover girl and this cover is perfect for this story. I highly recommend this book for anyone who enjoys reading a second chance romance and collaborated authors.
