Title: Out to Find Freedom
Author: Lila Rose
Genre: Romance
Release Date: July 30, 2019
Death and pain.
They surround me. Hold me hostage, refusing to let go.
But I want to survive. Want to fight. I just don’t know if I have it in me.
Maybe dying would be better.
It’s the break in the shadows that gives me hope.
When I look at him, all I can see is light.
So now I’m out to find freedom.
Private investigator Ryan Warden doesn’t know he’s moved next door to people he would put behind bars in an instant. Nor does he realise a sleepless night could lead him on the right track with the case he’s working on.
He certainly doesn’t expect Emerson Spence.
What he does know is he has to stay away from her. She’s been beaten and broken. She deserves to live freely while learning and experiencing things in life like any young woman should.
He’s too old for her. It’s better to stay away.
If he can.
Author's note: Out to Find Freedom starts out intense and dark, then moves into a very slow burn romance. It’s also set six months after No Way Out (Stoke and Malinda’s story from the Hawks MC: Ballarat Charter) but it can be read as a standalone.
Warning, triggers may occur 18+

HOSTED BY:

Out to Find Freedom can be read as a standalone, but you will see that it has ties to the Hawk MC and our all time favorite, Julian. Oh boy, your heart is going to hurt, you will see red and have some tears! This story is twisted, and I still try not to shudder with what could have transpired if something that Emmie found was not found. I’ll leave it at that.
Emerson is a ray of sunshine even in her darkness and she deserves to set Out to Find Freedom. Warden gave us a little surprise as well based upon something we would not think the PI has in him. Moving next door never did Ryan (Warden) expect to find clues that may help him in his job. There is so much more I wish I could say, but that would leave to spoilers so I am just going to say that Lila upped her darkness on this story and while it had you in tears, it left your heart full.
