This is the first book that I have read in this series of All In and they can be read as a standalone. You do see crossover characters; however, it does not mean that you must read their book as each book is about its own set of couples. Though I am very excited to read the upcoming book on Ian as just from reading this you can tell that it is going to answer our mystery questions that we have and get his story and moment from how he felt and dealt with an experience that is spoke of in this book. Trust me, you will be able to read this book without issue and will want to read others in this series just cause to fill in the circle of friends. 

This story is told from a dual POV and makes it that much better so that we can get both sides of the story and feelings that occur between Jax and Sky. Sky is a strong woman and though she married a mistake it isn’t always easy to exit the marriage especially when it comes to your safety. Jax oh Jax you are an alpha, sweet and HOT all rolled into one! They had an instant bond, but neither of them reacted to this since Sky was married. Gotta say I love, Ace and that old man knew them two better than they did! This story is not rushed and it shows how they developed a friendship over time and what happens with the marriage. Mike, her husband you are cruel and deserve all that occurred to you. I do not want to give much away so I will just say that for those in these of situations, we see the struggle you endure and how not all may be able to do what Sky did, but that when it is time it is time to let go and take your chance and run to be a better you. 

You will get hungry and thirsty reading this story between Jax and Sky and that ending is epic. You might even pant after reading the intense passionate scenes that these two manage to explode each time. There’s an MC story here, but you don’t need to enjoy MC reads to enjoy this story and you will see why since Jax is not an MC. You will see how the retirement home, the bar and the characters all tie into each other.  This story will tug at your heart and I felt the subject matter was well written by the author.
