Betty Shreffler is a self-proclaimed nerd and nature enthusiast obsessed with folklore, photography, writing, reading, movies, board games, hiking, gardening and spending time with her husband and five fur babies. Not necessarily in that exact order though. During her outdoor adventures she's been face to face with an alligator, a bear and a coyote, making for some of the most memorable experiences of her life. She loves to capture and share the world's beauty through the lens of her beloved Nikon camera. Her work experience has been diverse from working as a Ranger for the National Park Service to management positions in Fortune 500 companies. She’s lived in four different states and moved homes twelve times. She received a BA in organizational management and minor in sociology, although her heart has always belonged to writing and photography. Growing up, she read romance or supernatural novels and jotted down poems and short stories to express her emotions and alleviate the characters' voices in her head. Not much has changed, only now her stories are lengthier and her characters more interesting.

Grab a peach, lotion, spray you name it that smells like peach so that it could consume your mind to try to clear the air for how Jake Castle makes you feel. We totally get why Liz felt the way she did, just saying cause he was melting our hearts and other things too. Jake is a complete bad boy with a triple A (arrogant, a$$ and alpha) and when he wants something he gets it no matter the cost or consequence of an action. Not even the president of the Kings MC Club, Nix is going to stop what Jake’s wants, but ironically when a twist in their MC plan goes south, he (Nix) is the only man that trusts Jake to protect his sister, Liz.

This book is going to hook you from the beginning to end. Although I feel like that ending just ended. Another chapter, epilogue, or TBC. Nada. There better be more of Jake and Liz or maybe Nix so that we get more of the Kings MC club and where the story is heading with the club and other members. I will say watch where you are reading this though, I felt like I had to bury my kindle in my purse so that others on the train couldn’t see what I was reading. It was HOT at times and the twist and turns of the MC drama really hooks you. This is a family through and through except for some members I will say. Love that Liz doesn’t take any crap not even from Jake and makes him work for his actions. I have to say Jake may have melted our panties, but… that there is a pull that has me thinking Nix is going to be the one to top the hotness factor. I have so much more to say, but it would kinda be spoilers so all I will say is if you enjoy a good MC book read this one you will not be disappointed.
