This is book 4 in the Redeeming Love series and while each book can be read as a standalone you will miss out on this crazy, nutty and loving family. Start in any order you choose, but I do highly recommend reading the others cause while you know them as secondary characters and some of their stories that we see, their own book just reveals even more moments that leave you breathless or tearful (good and bad). This is Clara’s story. If you read the other books than you know a little about her background; if you have not read the other books no worries her full story is revealed and boy oh boy I knew there would tears and sadness, but the strength Clara had for survival is amazing. I honestly don’t think I would have made it that far. Clara and her boys lived a nightmare and that is stating it nicely and to watch their story unfold and how far they have come is joyful to your heart after all the sadness. We have met Brantley (he is Evan’s twin) and he comes off as a flirt, but his story has its own nightmare. We saw a spark between the two in a prior book and we hoped for their story and when you see the spark and connection between not only Clara/Brantley, but the boys/Bella your heart just melts away with a smile.

In this story we have two broken families that are given a second chance at many things and while the bad outweighed the good for many years it shows you that in life with the bad come the good and that if you didn’t get the bad you may not get the good things that make your life brighter. It may take years, but this story just shows you that your life of cards falls into place when the time is right. While I know the author struggled a bit with this story, I just want to state that it was an amazing story that tugged at our hearts and each story you write just keeps getting better and better. I loved this series and I can only hope that as this clan grows that it leads to a spin-off of the kids. Not only are we waiting on Carissa & Heidi’ story, but little Miss Ashley has her own story brewing there right along with some of the littles.

The Crazy Chick Club and that includes Grandmama get more hilarious than before in each book. It just goes to show you that no matter how crazy you may be, there is a someone for you that includes family (even if you’re not blood) that will be there for you in the good/bad times. Expect tears of laughter and sadness so grab those tissues but in the end your heart is full of warmth. What’s funny is the boys are becoming outnumbered, so this crazy clan is only going to get bigger! Haha Love is truly redeemed when the time is right!
