Beneath the Stars is book four in the Falling Stars series and while each can be read as a standalone, you will not want to miss the story of each of these characters. Rhys has always been a mystery to us and we knew there was a reason for his actions. We finally get his story and it is full of surprises, suspense and slow burn torture. Maggie is off limits, but for whatever reason they are what I will say roommates in a mansion. Better put families on one side, singles on the other. The lines become blurred and they start seeing each other under a different light (stars) when they form a closer bond being in close quarters.

Rhys may be known as the bad boy of country rock, but he truly has a side that he hides and will do nothing to protect those he loves. The songs he writes are off the charts and seeing him and secondary characters is the icing on the cake. I love seeing the other characters.

Maggie has a past that she is trying to overcome, she knows Rhys is off limits, but their chemistry is there. The risks she takes is crazy, besides the crazy protection her brother tries to keep on her. I love how she tries to save others even when hurdling her battles.

Beneath the Stars will leave you wanting to read all the books written by this author and will hoping and wanting you hear a live band in this crazy world we live in at the moment. I highly recommend this series or author if you love bands, close-knit friends/family, suspense and things that are right, but oh so wrong.
