I’m ancient for a hockey player. Broody as they come. I wasn’t always like that, I had love once, but it was ripped away in the blink of an eye. Now all I want in life is to play the game I love and to be left alone. Until I met the team’s new photographer. I did my best to avoid her. She was too young for me. There was just something about her that called to me. I’m not sure I can let go of my past, even if it means a future I never thought possible. BLOGS REVIEW
This is book four in the San Francisco Shockwaves series. While each can be read as a standalone, I prefer to read series in order cause you get to see inside the secondary characters before they get their story and then you see the former characters continue. Damien oh Damien behind that tough exterior you portray in the hockey world, I knew there was a soft side to you! You have every right to be a broody person and in your own time you know when to move on, but keep the memory alive. Trinity did just that for him. She may be young, but they connected right away whether it be in a coffee line, at work or outside of work. For being so young though she sure brought her A game as a social media person for the team. This was a perfect sports read as we near the end of summer while we await football and hockey season to come out. I highly recommend this series (any series really by this author) if you enjoy sports reading.
