After the Storm is book 5 in the Cottonwood Cove series and each can be read as a standalone; however, you will love seeing cameo appearances from current series and spin-off series characters. For those of us who followed the whole series, we finally get Cage's story. We see how big Gracie has grown and we have Presley who has this boy's (ok man) heart all tied up in knots since the age of 16. They may have had many curve balls thrown their way, but I am going to just say outside of this being life it was meant for little Gracie to be there before finding the way. It was a long storm coming! :). Presley has your heart when it comes to her parents outside of the Cage thing and her workplace. I love how eventually they both saw a light bulb, but it was right for all involved. If you love small towns, single dads and this author then this book is for you
