You had me at country singer, an MJ story and I honestly don't think I finished the rest of the synopsis and just read it knowing that we would get all the feels that we do when it comes to her writing. You will fall in love with Axton, Addie, Carson and the two other Hatfield sisters when reading this story. At times, you wanna shake Addie cause Axton could have totally went the opposite way of where he was going, but he didn't cause his whole world changed that day on the side of the road. Think it was the white panties? Oh I would die. LOL
Axton is all about making it out of this small town and going big with his music career. Carson is going to help him like he always has when it comes to his music. Axton may be your typical rock star manwhore, but Addie is changing his perspective on this.
Addie is not your typical girl, is about making it out of college and leaving her preaching parents behind. She hasn't met the one to give herself to yet. She knows the attraction is there with Axton; however, she knows how he is with women and doesn't trust him. This is where you want to shake her cause she wasted so much time on the what if instead of giving it a chance.
There is a reason to feel leary of someones feelings or actions though and we get a good story with a twist while reading this. Then you insert the Hatfield sisters and you are dying with laughter with these two. Carson is just an added bonus in this story.
Your feelings are tested reading this and just be prepared to spend time reading the story without much interruption cause you will want to see where it is going. The way you hope or the way to make you whimper. Does Ax get Addie to see his love and feelings are real or does she continue to break his heart?
