J.E. Parker is an American romance author who was born and raised in the great state of North Carolina. A southern belle at heart, she’s addicted to sweet tea, Cheerwine, and peach cobbler. Not only is J.E. married to the man of her dreams (albeit a total pain in the rear), she’s also the mother of a herd of sweet (sometimes), and angelic (only when they’re sleeping) children. Despite their occasional demonic behavior and bottomless stomachs, J.E. loves her little tribe more than words could ever express. This is the third book in the Redeeming Love Series and each can be read as a standalone; however, you do see continuing characters story, but you are never felt like you are missing a piece of these crazy, nutty characters. While reading this story you will feel the emotions, guilt, pain and love that Evan and Hope had for each other. The saying goes, “when you love someone set them free if it was meant to be, they will come back” but be still your heart when the guilt is revealed is all I will say. I will warn you don’t drink while reading this book at around 73% into the book, oh my the “Crazy Chick Club” fit the girl secondary characters to a T. Hilarious, but we needed that good chuckle when our heart was hurting most of the story so that laugh made your heart feel whole. I will say that ending though was the icing on the cake and through the teary eyes you feel the redemption that was well overdue.

Kyle and Carissa, Clara, Brantley mmm I’m loving where this is going cause I almost thought we may not get more of this series, but I am thinking otherwise and I couldn’t be more excited. The icing to these characters though is Shelby (mouth of the South) with Anthony, Maddie and Hendrix, Grandmama plus fingers crossed as this family of friends grows that we see a spin-off of the next generation. Each story in the series covers a different topic and this book was about PTSD after coming back from being in the Marines and many aspects of a Shelter that many of these characters work at. Ryker shows us some things that makes us open up our eyes is all I will say. Whether you read them all and loved seeing this clan or this is your first read, I have to say that Big Guy and Little Bit might have shattered me a little differently than the others, but each roller coaster ride we take with these characters blow our minds and touches your soul. I cannot wait for more in this series, but I will warn you grab some tissues, drink of choice, chocolate or bon-bons (do they even make those anymore?) and prepare yourself to feel the darkness and pain and love that these characters finally get after some heavy topics they dealt with. I highly recommend this series to anyone.
