couldn’t take it anymore and started pushing me to get free from my grasp.
“Stop! I hate you, Damien! Do you hear me? I fucking hate you!” she yelled over

tears cascading down the sides of her face. For a moment, I allowed her to take
my breath away. In my eyes, she’d never looked so fucking beautiful.

I leaned
forward and kissed away all her tears, tasting her nightmares, her memories,
her love and hatred for me. Tenderly kissing my way to her lips while her body
continued to shudder from my intense, overpowering love. Overwhelming her
emotions and overriding her thoughts the way only I could ever do. Before
another second slipped by, I kissed her for all the years I didn’t, for all the
times I couldn’t, for all the moments I so desperately wanted to. Losing myself
in her. Almost like I was trying to kiss the agony and pain I caused right out
of her. Wanting to hold her tormented burdens, inflicted solely by my mistakes
and regrets.

Review
The long-awaited Duet of Damien and Amira is here! You’ll be
speechless on this emotional rollercoaster of a ride. Loved, loved seeing some
other characters from prior books made some cameo appearances in this story and
can I just say that the Bossman portion was awesome! He needs his own book, haha.
If you thought that cliffy at the end of El Santo had has shouting at M wait
till you read this story. One minute you have a smile on your face and then the
next you are saying WTF. Trust me you will never see a thing coming and when
you think you do your in for boat ride that has you wanting to jump off it. I
cannot remember the exact words Bossman says to M that we all got a chuckle at,
but you will think she has officially been placed in the looney bin with where
this story goes, but she always somehow redeems herself and sanity for us in
the end.
This story is messy, secretive, dangerous and the
consequences are at an all time high. How far does someone go for the one they
love? Well have a drink ready and dive in to either this book or both books to
get to experience the hatred, love and angst not only these characters endured
but us as well. The Devil truly Sins in this book, so the titles are fitting.
That conclusion though will heal our heart and I cannot wait for our Noah’s story
after little tidbit we got.
