BLOGS REVIEW
Let me just start out by saying that I loved this book and I truly think we as readers can easily relate to Jennifer or have known someone in this situation. We all experience being torn with two loves just differently sometimes. If you have not then this read will give you guidance into what people in this situation go through.
Jennifer has a boyfriend, Linden and she also has a BF, Brandon. Who I might add has a girlfriend, Rosie. Jennifer loves Linden and Linden loves her in his own round about way. Huh you say? You will either love Linden or hate Linden. I'm a little of both at the moment based upon that ending. Linden has a weird way of showing Jennifer that he cares. He kinda lacks emotion except when it comes to their sexual relationship. He is a very dominant man when it comes to this and Jennifer is the submissive when they are together passionately. But....what she lacks in her relationship with Linden she finds in Brandon. Brandon offered her a solution that she refused at first and ended up taking him up on. Think of this as Best Friend with Friend Benefits.
Brandon loves Rosie, but Gem as he calls her fulfills a side that Rosie could never. They are both in relationships and don't know how not to be in a relationship and not affect their friendship. Well you get a little twist in here and just when they both decide what their action will be they are hit with obstacles and each end up not finding out based upon events that leave you gasping. Personally, I did not see this twist coming and I knew I wasn't feeling Rosie for a reason. Oh it's a good one! Rosie your sweetness is a Jack of all trades my friend. See what I did there. haha Knew Jordan, (Brandon's BF) didn't care for Rosie for a reason.
While reading this book you are dealt with lies, deceit, passion, dominance and you can feel the characters throughout this book on what they are experiencing at that moment. You may not like a book about a relationship with cheaters, but I suggest you give this book a shot and as the author wrote in her message before you start the book-give it a shot and read through the whole story before judging how someone can cheat. You might just find out how many others can easily relate to this story even if you never cheated on your partner.
The song best fit for this book, I would say is, "Hate you, Love YOU" by Gnash. I am so glad I found this author and cannot wait to see where this story goes next. At the moment I am TEAM Brandon with a little side of TEAM Linden.
