The LONG awaited release of Asher is finally here! For those of us who have followed the Ashes & Ember series, we were dying to get our hands on the front man (Asher) and the front woman (Ember) and the story of their relationship, band and what happened to Ember. For those of you new to this series, this book can be read as a standalone, but you will sure be grabbing the book on their daughter, Kenzi. You will see why I say this as you read the book. 

We knew this story was going to tear our hearts out, but the love that this man (Asher) has for his wife from the young age of 15, through the years of being famous, being young parents and loving his wife through her coma is what TRUE LOVE is all about! No one knew if Ember would ever not be a vegetable and boy am I glad they were rich to keep her going in life (even though she was not living per say). From the moment she wakes, through her recovery and how she tries to find her true self when you cannot even remember yourself prior to this is gut wrenching and eye opening. You could feel her pain, confusion and butterflies before/now. Ember sure shocks us with a stunt she pulls and they way it was revealed would have been my reaction as well so I could not be mad at Asher. All I will say to avoid spoilers! I will say that just when we thought we may be missing the end of this series, we meet some secondary characters who may allow us to get to see more Ashes & Embers in the future. Exciting news! You will LOVE this book and want to try to steal Mr. Valentine, but we won't get lucky cause his heart belongs to Mrs. Valentine, but it was sure worth trying HaHa.
