Bases Loaded is book four in the Vegas Heat:Bases Loaded series and each cannot be read as a standalone. Alexis is the one stuck on the mounds this time around. Does she advance to the next base with Danny or does she stay at the base with Brooks? Ha, totally not telling so read up! ;) Wowzer the pressure just keeps growing and Brooks/Daddy Dearest will stop at nothing to get what they want. Thankfully they have Gregory and DJ's family/friends in their corner. All I will say is Lex feels freer than she ever has and it's great to see a smile on her face for real, although not in the best circumstances. Wish I could say more but that would lead to spoilers so read on! Reality is back in force so we will have to wait and see how the Grand Slam plays out, a win for them or win for the other team (Brooks/Daddy Dearest); hoping for our DJ/Carrie for a win, but we will have to wait and see what is revealed in the final book coming soon. Patiently waiting for the game to come on. ;)
