Review: Rushing In

Rushing In Rushing In by Lexi Ryan
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Lies, secrets, a past that haunts you no matter where you go and that one OMG moment that can change your life without you even knowing it. Grace didn't make the best choices in high school and they still follow her in college. What happens when you tell a little fib to a guy you had a crush on that broke your heart and he doesn't even know it? Meet Chris, we will learn about their history and why she hides the truth from him.

Chris is a football player and meets his soon to be step-sister, but what happens when you didn't know she was your step-sister the night before they meet officially. Epic moment is all I can say. Grace's dad makes her stay with Chris for the summer even though she's a grown adult, but what can you do when he supports you while in college, but follow your dads rules. Rules are meant to be broken I say and breaking the rules in this story was just what Chris and Grace needed. They each helped each other overcome their past and the intense feelings they both have gave you a rush reading this story. They may have been Rushing In more ways than one, but so worth it in the end. You will have many surprises that you didn't expect in this story and it just makes the story that much better.

This may be book two and a standalone, but I definitely will be going back to read book 1 as well as reading the future books in this series to find out about the other Blackhawk boys. Hoping Willow makes an appearance somewhere in these books again.
