At the end of book one, Renegade we were left with our hearts in our throat and it gave us an insight to where the story of Tank (Trevor) and Blaze story was headed. Before I begin, I will say that each book can be read as a standalone as this book gave you the background of the accident that led us to their story in case you did not read book one; however, each book will give you a clue to which Moonshine Task Force man will be next in the series. You can choose to read the whole series or just the one that you find appealing. Um, clue they are all appealing and HOT. I love that each character name and their task force name is the same as their beginning letter cause it fits them perfectly.
As you begin reading your heart is beating and palms are sweating waiting to see where this accident is headed and what this means for Tank and Blaze. These two are stubborn and each realize that they have been apart long enough and are going to take matters in their own hands to win back their relationship. But… life doesn’t always go as planned and they may or may not get to tell each other that they can overcome their obstacle and be together. Love is not easy and can be painful in many ways. We see this with Tank and Blaze. You will get the backend to why they were broken up, the regret they share, the love they have for each other and just the button that was pushed when it came to her family and how their jobs can affect them. Blaze’s name is perfect for her. She is not a Daphne like her family wishes.
Blaze was definitely Tanks angle in life, the accident and recovery. We got to see anger, regret, truth, the love that they have for each other and how they helped each other and bring closure to their obstacles to move on in a relationship they so deserve. Passion was never a problem for these two and was Blazin’ at all times even when it came to limited movement. This book was about healing and the suspense kept you hooked to the very end.
I loved that we got to see Renegade and Whitney as well as where the task force is headed when it comes to the crazy in town. It is going to wreck Havoc on the town and our feelings. This author gives us the angst, love, drama with suspense and leaves us yearning for more each time. There is not a book yet that you will not love by this author.
