RC Boldt is the wife of Mr. Boldt, a retired Navy Chief, mother of Little Miss Boldt, and former teacher of many students. She currently lives on the southeastern coast of North Carolina, enjoys long walks on the beach, running, reading, people watching, and singing karaoke. OH my gosh, I love Sarah! She is hilarious and I love how she tells it like it is. Jack, you are the nerd that is hot, sweet, loyal and dang your feelings are real after all the mishaps that occurred between you two. It was almost like fate didn’t want you to together until it played with your balls enough. Lol. One of the things I love about this story is that it is not your typical love story, sex is not all perfect by any means. We finally get a story with bloopers galore and it shows what we endure in real life. Most men may have walked away that first time, but not our Jack. He’s a trooper!
After reading this story, I found out these characters stemmed from the book Clam Jam, which I have not yet read so this tells you that that this is a standalone story, but it will have you adding this to your TBR list to read about Maggie and Ry. You will be craving sweets by the time you are done with this book. Where else can you get Blue Balls, Chocolate and Sunshine all in one?!
If you are looking for a hilarious book that will have you laughing out loud, agreeing with Sarah and her brain and enjoy a slow-burn relationship this book is for you. You fall in love with not only Sarah and Jack, but Maggie and Ry and let’s not forget, Clint!! Oh my, he gives Sarah a run for her money on thoughts though and his book if he ever gets one will have us in tears from laughing with his actions and thoughts. Being told from the dual POV makes it even better cause we get the mood and scenes from both sides and it allows our interaction to relate to them more. I want a friend like Sarah!
