BLOGS REVIEW
OK, Yes, I knew that this was part of duet and we would get a kinda of a cliffy at the end, but I totally did not expect this twist and all I can say is, "NO!, NO!, NO!". Breaks my heart with these beatings it is taking waiting for the release of Part 2. Hopefully my heart will Crave a loving heartbeat in the end.
This is the first book I have ever read by this author and the author has blown me away with this story (all positive) and the topics that is discussed. I have never read a book based upon this topic and I truly feel there should be more exposure on this addiction or disease (however, you wish to see it as). What is it you say? Um, not telling cause that would be a spoiler and you will not ever get those from me.
Kason and Adaline (Ady) each have a craving and you will see the strong bond these two have as well. Kason's crave is not something most girls could handle and it makes me love Adaline that much more because she is so down to earth and real. That has got to be hard emotionally on both sides of this matter to deal with especially at such a young age. Adaline's crave is a little different, but is what she needs (at least that is my opinion). They work for each other and while I knew there would be hurdles they endured never ever did I imagine the one we seen. OK, yes, in a way I seen it coming, but I chose to be in denial. Well that blew up in my face! Never should anyone have to experience this, but again the author chose to discuss a topic that needs to make younger adults (and teenagers) aware of this topic. I kinda feel like it is becoming more taboo, whereas, when we were younger it was ingrained in our heads. Bravo to this author for discussing both these topics!! Love it!
You will Crave this book from beginning to end and then be Craving it even more waiting for Part 2 like yesterday. This book cannot come soon enough. I just hope my heart and theirs heals at the end. I'm going to go with positive vibes and say it won't be easy for Kason and Ady to deal with, but I think their love and devotion for each other will heal them the best way a person and relationship can when this experience occurs. You not only fall in love with them, but the secondary characters as well. I hope to see them down the road. I love that it was told from a dual POV cause it allows us to insert into their half of the story and to feel the emotions these two endured and felt in their journey or tears, laughter and so much more.
