Follow Me Back is book two in the series, Fight for Me, but you do not need to read book one to read this story. You see a few glimpses of the characters from book one, but nothing that leaves you confused. As I have said before, if Gingham Lakes was real I would definitely go there and now that the coffee shop, A Drop of Hope owned by Harley Hope was opened it made it sound so much more appealing I really wanted to drop in grab a coffee and treat or maybe those darn lollipops that sexy, Sir Bryant (Kale) steals from us. Haha kidding it was for a good cause. Speaking of good causes, Kale is one doctor that is truly a doctor who cares for his patients and listens not just follows the codes and rules and passes you on.
Hope my heart broke over and over with your story and at times I was wanting to bite the nails praying that it wasn’t going to go south. The love and fight you gave was worth it. Kale you didn’t want complications, but it was almost like it was part of your calling to get thrown into some complications. I will say that fate has a funny way of doing things even if it comes with the bad first to get the happy fate and this is 100% true in this story.
Heartbreaking, twists you don’t see coming your way, complications, love and explosive chemistry is just some of the things you see in this story. Is there any man in Gingham Lakes that isn’t hot? Hope’s friend, Jenna is hilarious and that is a true friend. I’m excited to see more of her and oh, I cannot wait to see where the author takes Ollie.
