Rock My Body is definitely the best title description to give this book not only from a music standpoint, but from an emotional standpoint. We meet Riley and Dominic and although their chemistry is crazy and they know it, they are both not looking for the same things. Riley is looking for a more serious relationship with feelings and Dominic is the one night stand man and doesn’t do seconds ever. So, they decide on being friends. Boy is that torture for them and us seeing the pull these two have and knowing that if they could work past their issues they may both get to experience more than torture. Can they hurdle beyond their past and move forward or will they remain friends?
You get a rock star story with the push/pull of a relationship and keeps you wondering if they will make the right or wrong decision when all is said and done. We also get to see Levi, Dominic’s brother and Grace, Riley’s BF snippets and know that your heart will ache with their story as well. This book is book two in the Mondez series; however, each can be read as a standalone as they are based upon each Mondez band member. You will see the other characters, but can easily follow along with the story. If you got a weakness for bad boys especially Rock band boys this book is for you.
