On Deck is book three in the Vegas Heat: Bases Loaded series and cannot be read as a standalone as each book picks up where the other left off. Have no fear though, Lisa gives us a short break and then gives us what we want, a new book to find out where she leads our hearts. haha. Alexis and Danny maybe On Deck with the secrets for now, but it is truly putting a damper on so much for them. The lies and manipulation that occur just keep growing with Daddy Dearest and Brooks. We get why Alexis is doing what she is doing, but then the other side of me says, "Nope, nope you are very naive!". She is letting them get away with too much! There are ways around to save your fan base and get your HEA Lex, just saying. Danny is true to his word, while struggling with the past and present of his dad and now her dad. Why do I feel like even though her dad says one thing, it really is not as simple as she believes? They are On Deck waiting to stay afloat in their relationship the best way they can. The Bases are Loaded, will it be a HomeRun or a Strike? Guess we will need to wait and see. Have pity on us Lisa! ;
