Review: Distrust

Distrust Distrust by T.L. Smith
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

T.L. has struck again with a story that will captivate you from the beginning to end. We see secrets, passion, Mafia and Russian Alpha men and the gore we all love to hate, but don't. Kazier may be cold, ruthless and HOT, but his undoing is his ghost, Elina. From the moment he saw her, he knew he had to have her and would stop at nothing to try to get to know more than just her name. Elina's secret and drama may or may not change this. Can you trust the girl who makes you do things no one else can? Will the truth be enough and how does this impact the Russians? These are just some of the questions you will ask while reading this.
Freya, Anton, Viktor and Death are some secondary characters that you know are going to have just as crazy of a story if not worse when it comes to their story. People may fear Death, but there is something about him that intrigues you to like him even when he is so bad and evil. I cannot wait to read book two, Disbelief cause it is going to go against all morals, but we are going to love it anyways cause we are messed up like that. haha.
If you enjoy Mafia reads you will definitely enjoy this series. I will say that from what I have read each could be read as a standalone; however, the stories of the Mob and the Russians do continue in each book. You will not be lost though if you do not read in order.
