This is the conclusion of Merciless and is book 4 in the series. These cannot be read as standalones. You must read each book to fully understand the story of Carter Cross and Aria Talvery. We were captivated from the beginning with the story of not only the territory between the enemies in the town, but the suspense of where the demise would lead to and what this means to Carter and Aria as well. Your heart hurts for Aria, but don’t get me wrong it hurts for the Cross boys too! Many of our questions were asked in this book and others that were revealed in this story kept us on the edge of our seats wanting to know what was going to transpire.
Wowzer, I think my heart was in my throat a bit there towards the end! OK, make that most of the time. I was happy on a surprise or two that was revealed in the book (lips are sealed, but I will say it’s a who and a what, that’s all). This beast of a man may have it all on his shoulders, but his alphaness will outshine in this book. I could not be happier with the way this turned out all around. I’m excited that Jase is next in the line of Cross brothers! If he didn’t draw you to him before, he will now when something is revealed in this book. I’m still holding out hope for a small novella on Tyler. WW has blown our minds and I cannot wait to see what she has in store next!
