Dang you M!! I’m happy and sad at the same time with how it concluded. Your heart is full, but sad and our Queen of Angst didn’t hold back in this duet. Choosing You is book two in the Pierced Hearts duet so you must read Choosing Us first. Choosing Us was full of heartache and left us gasping for air at the end and we couldn’t wait to get our hands on this book to see what transpired. Oh, don’t get me wrong this book is full of heartache, but the suspense of Bailey kept you turning pages to see what happened and if Aiden would ever come around with his kids again. Aiden never imagined that his life would turn out the way it did, but there’s a twist that is dropped on us! Yes, you will see the light and think why I didn’t see that coming when it was hiding in plain sight to us. Loved it!
Aiden is a shell of the man he was. His family is now broken, and Journey feels the wrath due to this. Let’s not forget how Jackson and Jagger feel either! Speaking of the kids. Oh my! You will love them, want to hug them and put some pepper in their mouth. HaHa The antics given to Camila are funny, but I love how she gives it right back. Speaking of Camila, you will love her from the get-go, but at times you think she may have marbles in her head for putting up with the household. In the end it was worth it though! Dante was hilarious and I loved seeing Noah and the rest of clan.
You will see why the connection was so strong between all involved and see clues that were being left in plain sight to get answers and closure. I would love to go into more detail about many things in this duet, but that could lead to spoilers so I’m going to say just grab this duet and read it cause in the end you know Monica may have Pierced our Hearts in many ways, but your healed heart gets you a new tattoo showing you that your destiny and your Journey may not go the way you expect it too, but that is life and fate will lead you when the time is right. Without pain there is no love! Oh Jackson! Oh Jackson! If we thought you were a little s#%t in this book I can only imagine how much worse, it will be. You better take a Harley (haha) and run as fast as you can!
