Review: Phoenix

Phoenix is book two in the Own the Skies series and while each can be read as a standalone, you will see the flirtatiousness that goes on between Nora and Case in the first book that leads up to the tension that they both try to hold back on when they meet up again in this story. They are both feeling these intense passion sparks then and now, but each have a demon causing them to prevent them from moving past a friendship. One of the things that touch your heart and there are many in this story is how Nora helps Case with how she uses her coping skills in his demon cause I'm not certain an event would have played out the way it did had he not dealt with this recently. Can both of them find peace in their demons to move forward beyond friends? Read and find out. These lips are sealed. This story will captivate you, has you feeling their intense chemistry and leaves some smiles are you frowned a few times. I highly recommend this story and series and am excited to know that another bird (HaHa) is getting a story.
