Frayed is book one in the Willow Springs series and each can be read as a standalone, but you will surely miss out on the Magic Willows. It only took me to book three (blonde moment) to realize what Magic stood for and why there will be five books in the series. HaHa It was a great beginning to introduce the town, the girls and to explore the YA world before entering the college years. Frayed is about finding out if you should steer the same path set out for you or to find your own path. I will say that I am glad Jett opened her eyes and love that it all started with a PBJ and they did not even know it.
