Title: Kiss My Ash
Author: Leddy Harper
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Release Date: August 9, 2018

Blurb

Ash Jenkins was the typical boy next door. Wait, who am I kidding? There was nothing typical about that boy.

He was tall, ripped, and had the voice of a man twice his age. Intelligent, sexy as sin, and barely legal.

Sent to live with his dad after getting in some trouble with the law, he was definitely someone I needed to stay away from.

But he had his sights set on me, and he didn’t try to hide it.

Did it still make me a cougar if I was the prey?

Author Bio

Leddy Harper had to use her imagination often as a child. She grew up the only girl in a house full of boys. At the age of fourteen, she decided to use that imagination and wrote her first book, and never stopped.

She often calls writing her therapy, using it as a way to deal with issues through the eyes of her characters.

She is now a mother of three girls, leaving her husband as the only man in a house full of females.

The decision to publish her first book was made as a way of showing her children to go after whatever it is they want to. Love what you do and do it well. Most importantly Leddy wanted to teach them what it means to overcome their fears.

Blogs Review

For all those who are deterred by age gap stories, Kiss My Ash just might make you believe that age is just a number. Holy Batman! This was all kinds of wrong, but oh so right! I personally don’t have an issue with age-gap stories as you are finding this to be more common nowadays. Plus, I would be a hypocrite if these stories turned me off as when I was younger I dated a man older than me. Be real people it happens more than you believe, and you see stories where these couples last way longer than people closer in age. I loved this story and Bravo to the author for writing this story!

Let me state this that Ash did not act his age for one and Kristy’s struggle was real. He didn’t let his other head do the talking until the time was right and they were smart about how this went (well somewhat) I would die at a certain part though (read book to find out and I’m sure you’ll be able to pick out the jaw dropper). While it may not be others choice to read this story, should you decide to pick this up (and you should) you will not be disappointed. It brings to light how hard it is to be in a relationship in a society that doesn’t give them the benefit of the doubt to show them it was meant to be. Ash may be an Ash (haha) at times, but his heart is full of love. I loved the ending and ironically it was the other kiss to Ashes I guess is how to state this. Cannot find the right word to state that without giving anything away. Perfect though and dang you I may never look at a rubber duck the same way again without thinking of Kiss My Ash! Love it!
