Malone Fulcher

Savage walked away without so much as listening to what I had to say.

Blogs Review

This is a duet, so you must read book 1 (On the DL) before reading this book. At the end of book 1 it ended in a small cliffy, nothing huge, but it picked up right away in this book. Well kinda, but I feel like it was done this way for a reason for us to get the whole picture. Slater’s (Savage) professional side is making an amazing comeback, but can he and Malone make it a homerun when it comes to their relationship or will it be best left as a strike-you’re out?

The book truly shows you how hard a relationship is as a couple when you are placed in the limelight and how to balance both the professional/personal side. Yes, all relationships are hard work, but groupies and photos in your life outside of BB can be the downside to being famous and make quite times stressful. Chemistry was not ever an issue for these two before/now, the issue was making sure they could balance work, sports and personal side of things without feeling like one was getting more than the other. Can Savage take the MVP on the field and off the field with Malone? Read both books to find out! Loved seeing some characters in this story from a different series. There is not a book yet that I have read by this author that I do not love, and I hope we get to see snippets of these characters in other works in the future. If you love sports and romance this book duet is for you.
