Author: Evan Grace
Genre: Contemporary Romance
AVAILABLE NOW - FREE WITH KINDLE UNLIMITED
Jonathan Brooks knows what it’s like to find the kind of love most people only dream of. He also knows what it’s like to lose it in the worst possible way.
After burying his wife and the mother of his daughter, Jonathan lost all faith in love. He struggles to cope with his grief, being a single parent to Josie, as well as taking care of his younger sister Tessa, and he’s convinced he will never be able to love anyone again.
Deaf since the age of four, Shannon O’Tool has always been a fighter and never allowed her disability to define her.
She’s a strong woman, and when the attractive Officer Brooks makes her an offer that promises nights of pleasure, but excludes any and every kind of emotional entanglement, the redhead beauty is convinced she can handle it.
When the unexpected happens, life-changing decisions must be made.
Determined not to open his heart to anyone, Jonathan does everything he can to keep himself as distant from Shannon as possible. But when their agreement to keep things strictly physical turns into something neither of them expected, Jonathan is once again forced to deal with the fact that life doesn’t always turn out the way you want it to.
Jonathan must choose—
Hold on to the past, or be strong enough to let it go in time to realize that he might just be able to find hope…

A Midwesterner and self-proclaimed nerd, Evan has been an avid reader most of her life, but five years ago got bit by the writing bug, and it quickly became her addiction, passion and therapy. When the voices in her head give it a rest, she can always be found with her e-reader in her hand. Some of her favorites include, Shayla Black, Jaci Burton, Madeline Sheehan and Jamie Mcguire. Evan finds a lot of her inspiration in music, so if you see her wearing her headphones you know she means business and is in the zone.

BLOGS REVIEW

This is the final book in the Starting Over series, though it is the first one I have read in this series. With that said, this can definitely be read as a standalone and I look forward to a possible spin off of this series. I will definitely being going back to read the other books in this series though.
The title Finding Hope is more than just a name, it gives you hope that no matter what you experience in life in regards to loss, you can still mourn the loss and move on while keeping memories alive. This story will have you tearing up from the beginning with sad tears and ending with happy tears at the ending.
Jonathon is struggling with the loss of his wife, Alex and raising, Josie at a young age. His sister, Tessa helps him out as well. They are a close knit family after the life they have had growing up. A few years pass and while he still struggles daily to move on he makes an arrangement with Shannon that they become FWB as long as no emotional feelings come out this or a relationship. It works quite well even though the emotions are starting to take over, but not all things continue without actions and boy do we get an action in here. Well a few you can say and while some where gut-wrenching they turned out to be a good spin for us.  Jonathon must decide if he can move on from Alex and give Shannon the love she deserves.
One of the things that truly captures your heart is that Shannon, her family nor Jonathon use her disability against her. It is not often that we find reads like this where a man falls for a women with a disability and the synopsis of this just made me want to read this that much more. We take for granted the things we can hear daily and this story shows you the struggle that occurs when you cannot hear and what would happen in an emergency situation.
This story while sad leaves you happy and makes you feel as you are apart of the story as it is being told.
